There are no permenant lines so that alternate land sets could be made and layed down over the water base color. Originally we would lay down low tack adheasive narrow black tape but found that on a map that large, the zones are obvious and you really don’t need them. The next stage that we never got around to was an elevated plexi layer to place the aircraft on.

Classic?
If one wanted to ship it, making their own arrangements and contacted me ahead of time I would be glad to help but it would be crazy expensive.

4x6 war table made for A&A up for sale
As a long time lurker, and lover of A&A I wanted to post here and let you all know that I have put my war table up on ebay. I really didn’t want to but times have changed. One of the gang got married and another fellow’s once cool wife went ferral soccer mom once the baby was born and I haven’t been able to get a game night together in over 2 years. It has been in my garage and is getting in the way of my airplane so it has to go and I hope it will go to a good home. The continents modeled from the A&A set so you could make any set you want and lay them out on the board. It will include the track lighting, coninent set, board and support stand. A few islands dissapeared but are easy to make replacements. The continents are textured with model railroad scenery products and have the proper zones marked off. I am located about an hour west of D.C.

RE: 6x8ft Pentagon quality battle table project
Still here, just been busy. I spent my time in the middle east during GWI and if they need me, they have my number. I just don’t want to waste my time or life on another half measure that does not engage the enemy with the intent of destroying him. We need to go full measure on this, and we needed to do it 25 years ago when this began.

RE: Cards for Axis and Allies
I have had the owner as a guest at my place for games after talking to him and ordering some of his cards. He is a super nice guy and a good gamer. The cards he makes really add to the game and go a long ways toward keeping it from becoming just a numbers game with tactics and strategy being thrown out. Allot of his stuff is also common sense, like an IPC chart with a bigger range and pieces to represent new unit types. The oen thing he has that I cannot reccomend is the Fog of War set. The cards are good looking but the rules are terrible. They are a seperate set and rule type all together and made by a different company.

RE: Pics of finished war table and a game played on it….
Were all really smart people and we use a copy of the original game board as a guide and obey the sea zones as they are on the map.

RE: Pics of finished war table and a game played on it….
Everyones a critic :P
The original A&A map is not exactly scale. The board was produced as a 4.something X larger version of the original. Therefore all distortions and such are ducplicated. This is to preserve game mechanics.
I am working on IPC buttons right now.
I will post some pics of the Armys soon.

RE: Pics of finished war table and a game played on it….
Three of us are beer brewers so there is always good quality beer at out games.
There are no sea zones because we have continenet sets layed out for Europe, pacific, U.S. etc. We just lay down the continents and have the ocean where we need it as the entire base of the board is blue.
Where is the WBC held at?

RE: More pics of the war table
This is weird. The code is entered right but it just shows the link text.
Just go to my site www.SubaruBrat.com and then look on the left for miscelania and click on that. The pics are there.
