    • RE: Aircraft carrier rules in v3- a New Way of Thinking.

@trig There are a set of sequential phases in each player turn. Certain things happens in each of these phases. The planes must land during the non-combat phase, and since the Carriers are not there - due to their placement in a later phase - the planes can not land. It’s as simple as that. No need to complicate things.

I have seen countless problems arise because people brought their G40 “assumptions” to GW36. Needless to say, it’s not a good idea.

    • RE: China

China has never been completely conquered in any of our games, so I think you’re mistaken.

      @trig
"Units must be placed at a factory you have possessed since the start of the turn”

11.1 also specifies that ships are placed at Shipyards.
As Carriers can not be placed at a Factory, aircraft can not be placed directly on Carriers.

Using optional rule 15.3 changes this. Part of that rule is about placement.

This is the wrong sub-forum. This is the “Global War” sub-forum.

    • RE: Peace time economy

@Klaykowalski said in Peace time economy:

When does the allied player receive the money? Do they get the bonus IPP’s at start of turn to use to make purchases? Or do they collect that bonus when they collect IPP’s at end of turn?

They get the money in the “Collect income phase” at the end of the turn.

    • RE: Peacetime bonus Income

They can declare war immediately once they reach a certain income. They don’t have to collect that income, so they do not have to wait until their turn to declare war.

    • RE: China

Of cause the Allies have to lend lease to KMT for them to stand a chance.

Also, remember that CCP & KMT can move into each others’ land zones, so if Japan positions its army to take out “Communist China”, they move out the turn before. This way Japan has to commit a lot of ressources, with out ever “winning” decisively.

    • RE: Pieces to purchase / 3D printing ?

You don’t need to paint anything.

But you need a couple of $100’s of extra pieces besides your A&AG40 pieces for this game.
