Hey guys, sorry If this has been posted, I was unable to find anything using the search. Can anyone point me to a list of the actual WW2 units the A&A global game pieces are based on? Thank you for the help!  :-D

Just picked up Europe 1940 and Pacific 1940 for $125 on Ebay! So exited I don’t think I’ll be sleeping the next few days  :-D

One more question for you folks that have A&A40, is there a difference in the scale of the pieces from the older games, or are they the same?

It’s going to be a bit of a project. The table will not just be used for A&A, but also for Heroclix, Mechwarrior, and a couple other table top games. The latter use a 3’x3’ playing area, so I’m thinking about making a table that splits in half, when not being used for A&A.

I’m sure this has been answered somewhere, but for the life of me, I can’t find it.
What are the exact dimensions of the global map? I’m getting ready to build my gaming table, and want the board to fit nice and snug :)

I am intrigued. Would it be balanced ok?

MY buddy and I tried out landmines  on Monday. We made them 5 IPC, covered one border, and basically acted the same way AA guns do, but for land unites. If territory was captured mines are destroyed.  Found out these make USSR a bit to powerful, however they did come in handy for Italy as well.
