Making minatures for the board game
Been a while since I have posted, anyway just wanted to ask anyone thought about making different miniatures and if so how I’ve been thinking 3d printing but detail and size seem to be issues from what I’ve seen. Also thought about trying to sculpt and do some sort of mould which will take longer. Let me know your thoughts.
I’m talking custom units by the way, I’m currently working on a kaiserreich alternate history map and pieces, been working on its for a while, its a interesting alternate history timeline for anyone interested in history and ww2 (probably most of you) and are sick of the same old, same old I’d definitely recommend it and as a community its real starting to gain some momentum.

1940 vs anniversary balance
Hi guys,
I am fairly new but have played global 40 for two years, just wondering whether anniversary is more balanced than 40 like it seems to be more balanced. Like I always also found 40 less historical like in history the Russians pushed the germans back without the allies landing anywhere, but in 1940 they require allies to land just to survive and are reliant on the allies. Just want to know your thoughts

36 questions as a beginner
Hey guys,
I am new to the forum but have been watching heaps of axis and allies for quite some time, I have played global 40 quite frequently in the 2 years I have owned it. Was wondering what extras pieces I will need for the switch to global 36. I saw the checklist but it seems to be a bit weird because their are some units that I don’t think should be their like cavalry for all the nations. Anyway just wanted your thoughts am Australian so shipping is a pain, also whats the thoughts of the spainish civil war expansion? thanks guys for your thoughts.

RE: China
Thanks just wanted to know about China, because like what I have seen from all GHG’s vids china seems pretty hopeless but watched some of that RC gameplay seems a lot more interesting. Historically China did get the tar kicked out of them, but like they still survived in the west really and still had the resources to stalemate the Japanese. I thinks its mainly because of manpower mechanics in these games like China held because of great man power reserves a game with currency in industrial credits can’t really show manpower reserves plus it would completely change the game.

RE: Making minatures for the board game
@call77 See I’ve been talking to some guys who know a little more than I do about 3d printing and have heard resin is really painful especially for beginners. For Resin did you like sculpt or did you just like use the existing nations units?

In this game (although I don’t own it) it seems as if every time this game is played china is just steam rolled and I was just wondering is their any way around this, like seems like the same problem that global40 had with china. Just want to know thoughts.
