      It’s been a week since I took my turn, so the game map was no longer familiar to me, since U.S. & UK had made dramatic moves. Had to reassess the whole European situation. Axis seem to be holding, their own, even though the Allies income continues to be far above the Axis. Brits have a massive ground force in Egypt, so the Italian army evacuated to Italy, while the going was good. Time to look for new growth opportunities in Southern Russia.

      I was looking thru your game move & see that you edited in a strat bombing raid by U.S. on FIC and gave me 3 damage. You didn’t report this in your game save post. I assume that you forgot to do the raid in the combat phase and ran a separate battle to generate the results. I already deleted the marti dice emails from 2 days ago, So I can’t verify the action. I will accept the edit, but next time please report it.

      Player stats says Russ has 10 units, but I can only find 9 (tank in Africa). Russ infant consolidating in Kansu, China. Brit adventure into Russ wilderness appears over. Despite my greater income, Japan finally moved its bombers & infant to join Germ in surrounding. Brit ground troops will take the narrow channel of escape to Kansu & planes will fly off. Germ has sidelined troops wandering in the Russ wilderness. Brit is concentrating major force closer to Mideast I.C.s, outnumbering Germ.

      The Pacific west of Hawaii belongs to the IJN. Battle in Caroline cost me a plane in addition to my ships, but TUV still +30 and BB & 3 tt’s sunk. Destroyed the rogue Russ mobile army. But you rolled better than average, so it cost me a bomber & negative TUV. But Russ can’t repeat that intrusion & those units can’t race back to southern Russia.

      Germany postpones Sea Lion. There should be a seasonal weather factor when it’s not feasible to launch across the Eng Chan. Batt Calc gives you only 4% chance. Even if you only lost 1 bomber to AA, instead of 2, your odds were still 8 or 9%. You should have gone defensive with infantry like in our team game. Germ & Italy can crank out the units & be a very hard nut to crack.

      Russ is down to 75 ground troops & 6 AA in Russia & Germ has 75 ground troops in Belarus. The mobile Russ army in China will hopefully be destroyed this turn. It didn’t gain any income for itself. I expect to lose all my attacking ground troops also. It will slow down Japan going for Burma. But Burma is secure for now anyway. Japan has to build fleet & contend with ANZ’s builds.
