      Hello from Canada!

      Depending on work and event timing next year my buddy and I are interested in joining!

      We’ve mostly been playing OOB G40, both on Triple A and in person. We’ve trialed a few house rules but nothing compared to this expander rule set - looking forward to learning.

      @Panzerstahl-Helm All good, is there a way to hop between map versions? I see that I’m 2.44.0 but don’t see an option to update or redownload the map?

      @barnee @Panzerstahl-Helm Just re-skimmed the rules for the unique unit/army gouping rules before purchasing.

      For unit purchasing, does this now happen at the start of the turn? Or was I supposed to wait (and would then get the option to place) at the end like normal? Either way, I did not move the new units I placed so there shouldn’t be an issue for Russia. (I’m guessing this is so that the “upgrades” to units can be applied.) — In general, please let me know if I do something wrong!

      @Panzerstahl-Helm Thank you! It was a good game indeed and seeing how you caused me different challenges throughout has given me some new ideas how to try and counter them more effectively/look out for them in the future. I used the opening move of taking the German planes to eliminate the French Med Fleet in G1 to my friends local OOB G40 game and created a very different game for our group. Still a lot to learn with the new unit interactions - especially with the Germans!

      I’ve got midterms this week but would be good to start another after they are done. Does next week work to start a new game?

      @Panzerstahl-Helm It appears that Japan was just barely able to hold on…thanks to some poor landmine rolls.

      I have the game attached here, but unless I dis something wrong in combat, I think there is no possible way for me to get any other units to Japan or Berlin.
