Yup Ray, I blew it up after I made the post and was too lazy to fix it.
Still didnt see aircraft carriers for Germany. Hehe.

So does the event cards give Germany 2 aircraft carriers and 2 fighters on each. Hehe, just kidding. Curious as to what is in those neutral cards!!
Looks great Ray!!
Ray,
Looks like you guys had a bunch of fun!! Please keep up the updates. Thank you so much!
Ray,
Have a great time all of you!! You putting the game up on twitch anymore Ray?
Looking forward to the updates!!
Mark
I have seen people take it to stop a NO I think but it really isnt worth much of anything to take or hold for that matter. So many other things that have to be done!!
Hi Ray,
Where is the Germans get a free aircraft carrier card?? Hehe…
Looking good.
Have fun,
Mark
Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a plan. I may be able to make July 8. Make it a family trip for the weekend.
2 cards a turn could be brutal. Especially if you drew 2 bad cards. Hehe. I hope you and the rest of the guys had fun. Thanks for the updates Ray. - Take care - Mark
That makes sense with regards to the pacific Ray. I can easily see that. You played Russia and the Pacific? That is one tough one to focus on the Pacific and Russia at the same time that is for sure. Techs look fun to use now. Anything else new I would find interesting?
Thanks for the reply,
Mark
HI Ray,
So why are you going with the undamaged battleships in Hawaii? I can see the transports? There just not enough stuff for the USA to take damage there?
Looks interesting. Thanks for the heads up-- How many players were you able to get?
Mark
Ray,
looks like you had a great game!!
Mark
Very good. Yes from playing the Anzacs they really need to hook up with the British and US as fast as possible otherwise there is really no threat for the Japanese down there since it does take time for the US to get there to really make a nice group. What country did you play this game? Carl, got diced – that is funny – that normally never happens to him - he is incredibly lucky normally.
Ray,
Thanks for all the pictures!! Looks like you guys had a great time.
The chart looks interesting. Is the new technologies something you guys have been playing with lately or is it just new!!
Looks so fun!!
Mark
I like both of the options. Tokens or Flame markers… The flame markers would bring special attention to the damage they are doing.
Maybe we could use something really distinct like a flaming marker for convoy box damage so that it is clear and obvious. A lot of times there are so many units on the board you can’t really see the map. Just an idea. The map is so good and has so much on it really don’t want to see it changed.
Yup, understand it was only 21 ipcs… But it doesnt allow the USA to have any type of air force that it actually had in the war. I mean I couldn’t even think of having a bombing force or a large navy. USA is really cash strapped. I understand you are trying to balance the game the problem I have is that Germany is so large numbers wise in comparison to actual history compared to the USA and the UK.
@gen-manstein
Well it was interesting in that you said I should have 3 transports groups of 5 transports. I had 3 groups of 4 and could not have spent a single more ipc on them because I only had minimal air and minimal navy. If Germany would have had any more air he could have destroyed the fleet. So I don’t know where and or HOW I was going to get MORE to Europe than I already had. I was getting about 40-50 a turn from Ryan and 80 on like turn 4. I am curious on how you would go about getting 3 groups of 5 trans, navy, air and ground units?? The ipcs to do so just aren’t there. Unless you abandon the Pacific and you don’t want that to happen either. You just can’t have it both ways. Just saying.
Justin played Germany and did one heck of a great job at it. I played the US East and UK and had a hell of a time dealing with all the subs Germany and Italy had. I had to deal with about 33 subs in all in the Atlantic… Talk about a lot of fun–not. Justin put up with my many mistakes like with Tactical bombers being a 6 then a 4 and then a 3 for taking out subs. Many a time Justin had to correct me with my rolls and he was very patient each time. I could have done a lot better in the Mediterranean and was too focused on Europe proper but it all worked out. Italy ran rampant in the med but did not even try to take Cairo. Problem was Justin had a lot on his plate with Germany and Italy so it worked out the way it did. Thank you all… Had a great game but I am so sore from all the up and down. LOL
If you are in the Milwaukee area and would like to learn how to play this version – Like I am… Talk to the General and see if you can get an invite and come!!
