Congrats on the successful funding! That’s no small feat, especially in the board game world. Looking forward to seeing more details on Song for War when you get the chance to share. Always interesting to see how different designers approach WWII mechanics, especially in the Med Theater, which doesn’t get as much focus. Good luck with the production phase, it sounds like quite the ride.

Who downloaded the free trial for steam? I played it and at first I found it frustrating to play, but after awhile I enjoyed playing it. Its like playing a game of Clue, but only you arent trying to guess whom killed whom. Rather you are on a ship, trying to survive. You do normal things while on the ship, such as drinking, showering, taking a dump, and playing recreational games such as billards. While you are on the ship, you are assigned a target to kill, while someone has been assigned to kill you. You get money for a kill, but you arent supposed to be caught trying to kill someone in front of the ships personnel. You get extra money for killing with a unique weapon, like a frying pan or a golf club. Its a pretty fun game to play. :-D

I was really interested in this game, but I never played the trial - didn’t know they had one. I watched the trailer and it looked hilarious. I wondered how long a game played, because killing people could end quickly, but I’m glad to hear you eat, drink, and take a dump. I saw all the different weapons - do you randomly start with one, or do you find them or what?

You have to find them. They are everywhere. Briefcases, drawers, boxes, etc. I killed someone with a Thompson SMG yesterday. It made me happy.

So, I went today to update Steam (RO) to play, and see on Steam News that The Ship is free this weekend. I’m thinking - awesome…
I go check it out, and it was for LAST WEEKEND and Steam hadn’t updated their news. That would explain why there was another popup that said “Thanks for playing The Ship - now please buy it.”
I’ll let you know how RO is…
