WTF is wrong with these bidders? The price for these pieces is insane!

  • Over $50 for the same Italian pieces included in what’s normally a $55-60 full game set???

  • I was following those as well. It’s only Italy and Anzacs that are commanding those prices. A couple of thoughts…

    1. The game might be far more expensive in some parts of the world, compared to where you (or I) live, and these might be (well, they are) acceptable.

    2. $50 is still less than the cost of the full game, and these bidders may not realize that there are new pieces for ALL of the nations.

    3. Some people get crazy with bidding, as with gambling, and might not be able to control themselves.

    Who knows.

  • I was among those bidders too (I got HALF the Italian set for 31$)….I know, it doesn,t make sense, I simply couldn,t wait until the game was released in GREECE…Am I an addict?

  • Ah, sorry to be such a boob.
I didn’t realize the game wasn’t released yet overseas.  So would the cost of shipping an American copy of the game to Greece be too expensive, or is it that you want one that’s printed in Greek?

  • It was due to the high shipping costs (close to $55)……all the Wizard of the Coast titles arrive to Greece through the U.K. and German distributors, they arn,t printed in Greece…to buy a copy in a greek store would cost you about $110,00…
