I think the Italians should have rules that let them invade Yugoslavia and Greece without giving the France and the UK such a large IPP increase during peace time

French Strategies for 1936
Hello all, new player here and I was wondering what y’all do to inflict maximum casualties on the German player? Does France have any chance of surviving of the German assault? It seems to me a fortification in Paris paired with some artillery might help do some damage.
As a sidebar, can the French use factories after Paris falls? I’m thinking no because they would have no supply path to a major factory and don’t have any home country left when operating from Africa/France.

@GeneralHandGrenade thanks for the clarification GHG, the smash Russia move sounds brilliant, considering France can’t attack the Germans for a full turn

RE: Italian Special Rules/Abilities?
@Dran-Black maybe it could work similar to Slovakian resistance. Britain/France decide whether or not they oppose for similar IPP bonus/penalties. If the Britain/France aren’t at war with a major power, they may send one existing infantry class unit each to Yugoslavia/Greece representing expeditionary forces. If they do and they beat the Italians they get one D12 income increase each. If they intervene and lose, they lose one D6 income each and Italy gains +2 peacetime income. If the allies do not intervene, they gain one D6 income each, and Italy gains a one-time bonus two IPP.

@Dran-Black I think that’s a great idea, gives more of a reason to actually annex Albania

RE: Neutral Netherlands
@GeneralHandGrenade would it be worth leaving them neutral until Japan is in a position to take the islands? Then on that turn, Germany can declare and Japan can swoop in on the islands before the UK gets a turn to collect their IPP?

Neutral Netherlands
What happens if the Axis never declares war on the Netherlands, invading France through Belgium? Would this be effective to deny the Commonwealth IPP from the money islands?

@GeneralHandGrenade thank you for the clarification, I’ve been confused on that one

RE: French Strategies for 1936
@GeneralHandGrenade after France moves capitols I’d the new one considered home territory? Or are they unable to build or use factories then because they would have no home country and no supply line to a major factory?

@Dran-Black great reply, I’ve been completely overlooking AA, but I like the Africa idea. In the case of shipping forces to Africa, could you move them to one of the territories that can become the new French capitol to guarantee that they become FF?
