Offloading Transport Scenario
- A US transport with 2 inf rolls into SZ 61. Can the transport unload 1 man on Japan and the other Manchria. Both territories are connected to SZ 61.
Does a transport’s movement end right when you unload anywhere?
Thanks

Sub Movement through hostile SZ to Attack Another Hostile SZ
I know subs can move undetected/submerged through a SZ with hostiles (no destroyer present). Can that be used during combat move, non combat or both?
During combat move, can a sub sneak through a hostile SZ to another hostile SZ and still get a surprise attack? Did moving submerged through the 1st hostile SZ use it’s ability to surprise strike?
Thanks

RE: Fighter and aircraft carrier questions
My bad. This is for 1941 not 1914.

Fighter and aircraft carrier questions
If a fighter in EASTERN US wants to land on a carrier in SZ13, is that 2 moves or 3 bc you count the landing?
Also, can you place a new fighter on a carrier adjacent to a industrial complex or does it have to start at the IC

Sub surprise strike and submerge sequence
Only 2 subs are in combat with no destroyers. The defending sub chooses to submerge but the attacking sub uses surprise strike. If the attacking sub gets a hit but the defender submerged, does that attacking hit count or miss bc of the defenders submerge ability?

Sea unit attacking air unit on land
I know sea units can’t attack land units (tanks, inferring, etc) but can they attack a plane that is on a land territory? Sorry for all the posts. Brand new to the game.

Non combat move into SZ next to hostile territory
If I have a US battleship, can I move it into the SZ on the coast of Japan on a non combat move if Japan has no sea units in the zone? Would this be considered non combat or a combat move like on land. Basically is a unoccupied sea zone on the coast of a hostile territory considered hostile?

Only defending transport left in battle
I’m defending with a battle ship and 2 transports. The battle ship is killed and the attacker presses another attack with only defending transports left. Are the transports automatically killed or does the attacker need to role?
Similar to if a attacker moves into a SZ with only transports, all transports are automatically sunk.

Fighter and aircraft carrier attacking a sea unit
If I have a carrier with 2 fighters aboard, can I use both in a sea combat? Let’s say my carrier with 2 fighters wants to attack a hostile sea unit 2 SZ over. Can the fighters takeoff and move 2 SZ and then have carrier be moved as well into combat? 2 separate movements but both enter into the same battle simultaneously.

RE: Particular Combat movements for Subs and Planes
@Panther ok thanks! So in short when a sea unit starts in a hostile SZ it can use its combat move to retreat? Let’s say a sea unit retreats in their combat move from 1 hostile SZ into another hostile SZ with less enemies, does combat have to commence?

Question on newly occupied territory after combat phase
I’m attacking a hostile territory with a tank and infantry and defeat all hostile units. Does the tank and infantry have to move into the newly acquired territory or can just the tank move in and the infantry stay back?
