Thanks guys……I’m still hoping for something new in the foreseeable future…that being said I’m content with owning every Axis&Allies game and find Global 1940 and Anniversary Edition great fun and when time permits Global 1939 from HBG is an awesome game to play

Are the hits taken from the artillery fire prior to the landing absorbed or added to the defense roll?

I’m from Pittsburgh and usually play a couple times a week…we have a few players and are looking for more players…I have every Axis&Allies game ever made and we play them all…we even have HGB Global 1939 with the 8ft map

in a recent game playing tournament rules I was playing as Germany and we gave Germany complex in Munich….I attacked Switzerland on turn 1 and it just seemed to really unbalance the game. Also being able to move two spaces really made it easy for Germany to push hard on France. Just looking for some ideas how other players are treating Switzerland…we came to the conclusion that it should be impassable to all units. Would like to hear other ideas

I like the idea of $5 armor……in our games we have figured out that once again airpower is key and a better buy than armor…air superiority is important and devastating because it boosts your artillery to defend or attack @4 or less
