We started at 3:00 PM and finished at 2:30 PM the next day with a one-hour catnap.  We were able to complete 2 games of 1940 & one game of 1942.  I one 2 out of three games. (one1940 and one 1942)

My 3 friends and I all have b-days within 2 weeks so we’re having an axis and allies global 1940 game to celebrate. We’ll be ordering pizza, having ice cream, pigging out on junk food, and of course… Playing the greatest game on the planet

I like Japan because it forces you to diversify.  You need a good air-force, a good navy, and a good army to succeed

My reasoning behind send the Tac Bomber to Tunisia would be used to help get rid of the British opposition in Egypt, Alexandria, and the british fleet there.

Let’s say a seazone adjacent to Southern Italy was being attacked and let’s say you had german planes in southern Italy.  If an Italian ship was being attacked could you scramble a German plane?

Well i ended up beating my friend but it would’ve been wayyy easier had i known that :-D

Thankyou because I just played a game where my friend insisted that I could not attack Russia and the rulebook was lost so we couldn’t verify it.  He repeatedly bombed me with 7 bombers in Russia

Is Japan able to attack Russia or Russian territory with an American in it?

I would stick with 1941 for your purposes

Leave it as it is, historically, at this point in time it is axis biased, the US just entered the war so they need to rebuild, russia was loosing ground and england was england.  The game was set up so the axis can win in the short run but be challenged in the long run

I bought this game because my dad said that this was the only one he’d play with me, he doesn’t like long strategy games!

I like this game for what it’s intended for, it’s not necessarily ment to be a totally dictated by strategy- luck plays a huge part in it as well and i have come to terms with it.

I’ve had so many games which result in arguing, it really takes the fun out of it!  I find it best to read through the entire rule book before the game out loud.  It’s not very fun at first but it’s well worth it!

The map is completely original, and the pieces are the ones included in the game all i did was paint over the pieces.
