    • RE: Global Wars Mega Game.

@insaneHoshi Yeah it would have to be more a scenario based rather than an exact end result of the previous game. So if the central powers won ww1 even though they completely dominated France and Great Britain in game, the 36 setup would be set up differently than how the previous game ended. There would need to be changes in diplomacy, starting incomes, etc. Also would need overlays like the one that comes with the Croatia expansion for the ottoman and A-H empires.

    • Global Wars Mega Game.

So let me first say that yes I am aware that GW14 and GW85 (I think it was 85) aren’t out yet…but has anyone been thinking about or does the developers have plans for an expansion or something that could connect all the global war games? Or how that would work?

    • RE: Slovakia Resistance?

@Chris_Henry I don’t think they would get the d12s since they got the plus 3 and plus 1. I don’t know though.

    • Slovakia Resistance?

If Germany loses the battle, do they get to attempt to annex Slovakia again or do they have to declare war on Slovakia and attack it like it is another neutral?

@hammertimepower yeah they’ve done a great job. I don’t want them to think am not grateful for the work they do, and I hope I didn’t come off like I was. Like a said I thought I was being helpful.

@GeneralHandGrenade Hey, I saw your Russia video. Sorry, I didn’t mean to cause problems for you guys. I thought I was being helpful. It just seemed like something that could be taken advantage of from 2 player point of view, and in some situations in 3 players or more games.

@GeneralHandGrenade so if Russia declares war on the US, the US doesn’t go to full income?

    • RE: V3 Russian declaration of war.

@GeneralHandGrenade my concern is that it could be used to bring in the US early without actually fighting going between the Allies and Commies. Let the axis and allies fight it out until Russia is ready to take all of it’s Victory points.

@hammertimepower Russia could bring the US in early with these rules without actually having to attack them. Having the US putting pressure on Germany that early would be great for the Russian player. It seems like it would be to easy to cheese over the axis.

I’m I the only one who thinks that Russia being able to declare war on the Allies in July of 1939 is a bad idea?

I’ve been playing with different ideas about how best to utilize Italy here lately, and I’m curious about what strategies you guys have found to be effective.

@GeneralHandGrenade Will do. I’m doubtful it will be successful though, but who knows.

    • Where is everyone located?

Share your location or general location if you don’t feel comfortable sharing your hometown, and maybe there will be others in your area who would be willing to met up and play a game. Well once this pandemic ends. I live in a small town in Missouri called Edgar Springs. Me and my roommate are looking for more players. Let me know if you are in the area.

@Dran-Black I’m not a huge fan of the Africa strategy. I’ve seen the Vichy rolls go horrible too many times.

@Slamhelsing Militia, as much as possible. Artillery and Infantry are good, maybe a couple AA guns. Have the UK locked and loaded to drop troops in France. Finally pray that Germany screws up.

    • RE: What is your signature strategy?

      Germany 1936:

      1. Don’t attack any Neutrals. Annex the 3 Neutrals. Build your forces up in Western Germany until you have enough to take on France. Also make sure you have a paratrooper and your air transport in Western Germany. I would also build some in Stetin to take on Poland later. Save your lightning war.
      2. On the same turn, Attack Narvik with your paratrooper, and attack Belgium with your forces you have stationed in Western Germany. Land your air transport in Western Germany and build another paratrooper there too. The attacks on Belgium and Norway should have put France up to full income or at least pretty close, which is good for you as the German player because that’s more IPPs for you when you take Paris.
      3. Send the paratrooper from Narvik, the paratrooper from Western Germany, and a fighter into Oslo. Attack West Poland and the other the neighboring Polish territory that starts with a D (I can’t remember it’s name off the top of my head) with your forces in Stetin. Attack Picardia with your forces in Belgium. Use your Lightning war to take Paris and possibly Warsaw.
      4. Try to have this done by July of 39 at the latest, so that you can focus on the USSR asap.

    • 1939 CCP starting income.

Why does the CCP start off with 3 IPPs in territory value when on the board there is only 2 IPPs in territory value.

    • Vanilla Spanish Civil War Question

Once Germany and the USSR are at war with each other, they align the Nationalist to Germany, and the Republicans to the USSR, if the Spanish Civil War has not been resolved. So does that end the Spanish Civil War and nobody wins, or can one side win once the other side is removed from Spain?
