Has anybody done like a POW camp rescue mission scenario? If so, what pieces did you use?

I’d was wanting to put together an elite squad for the Germans or the US….
What units do you all use for this?
I was thinking for the US:
Hunter Sniper x1
Screaming Eagle Paratroopers x2
Screaming Eagle Captain x1
For the Germans:
SS Panzer Grenadier x3
Expert Sniper x1
Whermacht OberLieutenant x1
What are some combos for special forces squads you have tried? What crucial pieces am I missing? Maybe an engineer (for bridge demolition??)
I’ve just recently purchased AA Mini’s……
I do not have barbed wire, ammo dumps and all that…
If you get those things and make an HQ does this count against your 100Pt limit?
Everything I’ve read says this is a bad move……and that it’s better (w/ no bid $) to buy 3 trns. and 2 inf. on J1…and to wait for IC build on J3…

I think you gotta stack the Inf……above all else. You should be buying Inf. EVERY turn…at lest through the first 7-8 turns (I don’t mean Inf. only…but you should buy a LOT of Inf.) IMO

If my friend and I want to be the Axis…there’s no point in bidding though since everyone will just bid 1$…
What would be a fair amount of money to expect to receive for the Axis to split…$15?
Placing sea units
I understand the placement of land units (where IC are and limits on placement based upon value of land etc.)
Where do new sea units get placed? We have been playing that they have to be placed in the shore next to each countries capitol……
Is this the rule or is there something else?

My friend and I live in Casper…he’s always Germany and I’m always Japan…there’s another guy up here that is the Allies…we’d play.
We want to be the Axis powers up front and yes, it’s difficult to win with them. Therefore, do we just like, get extra pieces to even the score?
