I know that it takes 2 hits, but, can ships bombard the airfield, and bombers.do you have to say, like, bombarding airfield or what?I don’t know what to do about damaging the airfields, and the rulebook doesn’t say anything about it.

RE: What's a strong Naval force in AAG?
I played it again today and I took Malatia and New Georgia on the first turn, and I had four airfields on the second turn to the Jap 2.

RE: What do you prefur for task Forces?
I usually build about 6 subs after my carriers are built, they’ve made the Jap fleet run many times!

RE: Problems with Cruisers: colors/numbers??
I just got mine 3 days ago and it had the wrong cruisers,I got the right ones today.

RE: What's a strong Naval force in AAG?
I’ve played about three times now,I like having, like you said,2 DDs and 1-2 CAs per capital ship.
I’ve also found that Japan can win in three turns if the US doesn’t take Santa and that Island above Guadalcanal on the first turn.I’ve played a gave where they both have to get 25 VPs to win and it was easier for the US to win with the extra 1-3 turns. -
RE: Few Questions
Okay,But doesn’t the home base card for the US start with 5 bombers and fine fighters?how are they there with only one airfield?
-
How many bombers is a good stratagy?
I’m just trying to inprove my game,I usually am on the defensive,so,I’m not that good at AAP,I’ve tried every Country and I stink. :|I ROCK in the AAR as Russia though.

RE: WHAT ARE THE MOST JAPANESE IPC'S YOU'VE SEEN AFTER TURN 1?
After turn 4?30 at tops.I own it and Japan creams the Allies in turn i,but after turn 3,Japan is always on the defensive trying to hold what she has.

RE: Few Questions
I have a question, how many planes can fit on an airfield? Is there a limmit?

What's a strong Naval force in AAG?
Hello,I just bought AAG,and I’ve had AAP for 3 years now,and I like big powerful Task Forces in AAP.What is a right sized naval force in AAG?

What do you prefur for task Forces?
Hello,I was wondering what is a good AAP Task Force and when it’s good to get your ships moving towards Japan?

RE: Favorite WW2 BOLT-ACTION RIFLE
If we’re talking about Bolt actions,it would be the Springfield 1903,if we were talking about semi-automatics,it would be the M1 Grand.

RE: Guadalcanal to the death!
I’m going to have to try it.
By the way,I’m a bit confused on the supply things,I know, you need them to build airfields, repair them, and repair ships, but, how do you get them,do you start out with them all or what?

RE: Cruisers classes (USN & IJN)
I bought my AAG last week,it hasn’t been delivered yet, but, when I found out that they had the wrong cruisers,I asked for the right cruisers from AH even before I had my AAG delivered,so I will have my correct cruisers the day after I get my AAG.

RE: Carrier Conversions
I’m a Naval Buff too dude,it’s nice to see more people who are addicted to it.

RE: Another tank found
That’s pretty sweet,I’m going to Russia to see about digging up a T34 and bringing it home.

RE: Favorite WW2 Bomber
I’m stuck between the B17 and B29 and the B24.
I’m walked around in a B17 and a B24 and B25 and sat in a P51 Mustang.

RE: Battleships
I like both,I always have 2 Task Forces in the game.1:3 carriers,(with 6 fighters),2-3 battleships for hits,5-8 destroyers for defence,3-6 subs for quick attacks.
2:4-6 transports,(with an even number of marines and artilery,)3-4 battleships for bombardment and deffence,4-6 destroyers for anti-submarines and cover, and sometimes 1-2 carriers(with fighters)if the main fleet is far enough away.I usually have this force sailing for the Philipines(SP?)by turn 5-6 in a whole,or in big peaces by turn 3-4. -
RE: Saburo Sakai's AAPacific Essays - #6 Japan's Futile Battles
I really like your essays, :-DThey have helped me a lot in AAP games with my friends.

RE: This has probably been asked before but…....
I started out with AAP,I liked it,it was a bit hard at first, but,if your not very good with aircraft and fleets, then go for AAE,In Pacific, you mainly concentrate on air power and navy.

RE: Cruisers classes (USN & IJN)
They are the same in both games. They probably looked different to you because your friend has the reverse-colored cruisers in his Guadalcanal game.
I’m pretty sure there the right ones,he got the right ones last month when he found out that they were the wrong ones.

RE: Cruisers classes (USN & IJN)
I played the AAA yesterday and I got a good look at the AAG Cruisers and the AAA Cruisers.I’ve been studying US cruisers from WW2 for the past few weeks and I think the ones in AAG are the Portland Class, but the ones in the AAA are of the Wichita Class,I’m probably wrong, but they were different cruisers that I saw yesterday for the Americans.Any my friend has the Portland Class cruisers in AAG for the Americans.

RE: Just Played AAA
I played it today,it was me and 5 friends.we,the Axis,we lost!!!How did we?I’ll never know,I was Japan,I held most of the Pacific islands and most of china,Germany took Moscow so many times, and Russia just took in back so many times,by the end,Germany only had 12 tanks on Berlin and that was their army,Italy was holding so many Russian and German Teritories that they were to spread out to the stop the amassed British fleet and army and the US Atlantic fleet.I lost to the US Pacific Fleet after about 12 turns,I held out as long as possible, and the game lasted 6 hours!!!It’s pretty cool though,I’m playing it again soon and I’m buying it next time I get my pay check.I like it when Japan has a carriers,9 cruisers and 7 subs,it can really hurt the US Fleet when you attack.
