• Here are some “generic” (cheaper) paint jobs. I have mostly posted what I consider to be my “detailed” stuff for customers. Recently I have posted some of my more “generic” minis in an attempt to show that for much less, I can do work that is still attractive. These infantry (BARS and 30 cals) have no seperate painting of belts, ammo pouches, helmet staps, boot leggings, buttons, insignia, etc. The only highlighting is on the basic uniforms, thier is no highlighting on the stocks or metal parts of the guns (I normally 2-tone the wood stocks and barrels), no highlights on the helmets, and the bases are painted flat black instead of being flocked (except the 30 cals). The topcoat is matte spray only, no brush applied matte varnish. Faces and hands are painted an flesh-washed though. I normally charge about $4 per man ($5 for guys with camo, $7.50 for mounted or 2 man heavy weapons). These are examples of $2 per man paint jobs, and $3 heavy weapons.
