My experenced Axis and Allies players, I have a simple question for you that I need answered by Sunday morning.
Which side should win more between.two players of equal skill?

You see I am teaching my girlfriend to play Axis and Allies, and I only have Revised, and 1940. I think it is best to start with the game that doesn’t have a board longer than she is tall. I wish to give her the better side as to compensate for my additional skill and practice in the game.

There should be at least double that, I mean how many parts did Europe 1940 have?

It has the largest amount of dice that has been released for A&A. That speaks for something.

Furthermore, if you preorder, the game is cheaper.

It’s worth its cost that way.

I have dice laying around the house, I don’t really feel interested in paying a ton for them. I’m sure most of you even have dice from old A&A

This dawned on me as I was looking over the latest information, and given the stuff involved I don’t think this is worth the price tag.

I mean seriously, 1941 had more sculpts then this, and it cost what $40?

I mean sure, new era, new rules, new map, but is that worth 2.5 times the cost?

Oh yeah, I love that show, favorite of the blackadder series.

If you ever play a 1914 game where I am Britain, expect quotes to be had. Especially ‘the people we like to fight are four feet tall and armed with dried grass.’

There was also that one that took much needed supplies to Tanzania, but had to be recalled. Maybe they could have the ability to transport one artillery at the expense of being able to bomb, maybe only once per game too.
That does speak to their range though.

Also I must point out, though clearly not up the snuff like the German ones, I read Austria Hungary had 6 airships itself (earlier models though, probably unfit for combat.) so perhaps in alternate history Austria Hungary could buy one or two.

Hmmm, I really like the idea.

I think German, Austrio-Hungarian, and American airships should be the only ones represented in the game.

I think they should be able to ‘submerge’ like submarines because they could often simply fly higher to avoid the primitive airplanes at the time.

I would like to see them work as anti ground units, like bombers pretty much, but with worse strategic bombing.

You know Flashman, though I do agree with you on the point, you don’t have to bring in railroads on every thread  :-P
