Thanks for the update. Its been a really bad couple of days, I needed this.
      Great paint jobs as always.

My one critical comment has nothing to do with your work. These are the weakest figures so far only because these are definitely the weakest sculpts. I’m just not that impressed with the sculpts, they could have been better. ANZAC should have gotten their own infantry sculpt too IMHO.

What tanks are they currently using for Italians, Japanese?
Maybe you could paint up one of each and then see which looks better.

At the moment I’d  say use Japanese tanks for the Italians and British tanks for the French.

Then again, have you considered painting some US Shemans up for the British and French as well? Especially in the Pacific, the British used almost exculsively US built armor. Personally I liked the revised Sherman sculpt a little better then 1942 edition for the earlier look.

On the plus side, only the infantry need them. Everything else should just have a plain red star. I have never seen the hammer and sickle painted on vehicles as a standard marking during WWII.

      The RAF looks great.

Out of curiousity, is there a reason you painted the bombers with a solid nose? The B-17s in particular would have a glass nose cone. Otherwise amazing levels of detail and precision for models that size.

First off, awesome job on the paint jobs and camo schemes.

Second, have you ever considered making physical modifications to the pieces? Things like making national flags on the ships and carving headgear to make bush hats or Para berets or filing down the shorts socks combo on the British infantry?

the last one bothers me because I always disliked the British infantry sculpt having a uniform that was only worn in the western desert (ok, briefly in Burma until they realized it was a very bad idea) The British infantry sculpt was the only one that doesn’t reflect a universal looking figure.
