      @cthuwu The 2 infantry remain and dont regenerate to 8.

    • Script-assisted battles for Axis and Allies Global 1940 on Tabletop Simulator

      Hi,

      I work on script-assistance for Axis and Allies Global 1940 on Tabletop Simulator.

      What it does so far:

      • detect and count units and unit chips on the battle strip
      • Provide “Spawn Dice” button for each side
      • Count hits when throwing dice
      • Provide (+) and (-) Buttons and a number input as hover menu for units to change the stack below it. This is done automatically according to the entered number of units.

    • Update 3.0.0 out for Global 1940 2nd ed. [Scripted] on Tabletop Simulator

      Hi, A&A fans!

      I released a new big update for my Tabletop Simulator version of Axis and Allies 1940.
      The last bit of manual labour is now scripted, the occupation of territories! You can right-click territories to change the occupier. The IPC strip is adjusted automatically. Also, you can right-click capital ships to damage them, convoy sea zones to mark an active convoy disruption and many more things from other updates since I last posted here! More scripting will follow, like the recognition of national objectives, income calculation and building cost tracking. Please check it out, if you like!

    • Ships forced to fight and frozen in place?

      Hi,

      Consider the following scenario:
      Germany has Great Britain.
      USA has a fleet in 109. It is big enough to fight off a scramble. However, I need to move one destroyer in the non combat movement. Would the sea zone be hostile, I could move it away in the combat movement phase, but this rule only applies when surface warships are present. But when I attack Great Britain he will scramble and in the scramble rules it says all units present must fight. So the destroyer can’t be moved anymore. So is it frozen in place, as long as I hammer attack after attack and the enemy scrambles every time? Or can I simply declare units not to support the amphibious assault? Because you have to declare the support units. Which rule overrules?
