@Black_Elk I actually messaged Beamdog to ask about their plans for balancing, and they were unaware of any such issue, they said the results in the office were roughly 50/50. I said that for experienced players on this edition, it is not so balanced. Im hoping they took onboard my suggestion.

This question is more for people who have played a fair amount of 1942 2nd, with LH balance patch for tournaments. I know prior to the LH balance patch the bid was around 24 to play Allies. I understand it to be more in the region of 7 to 12 to play allies now.

My second part to the question is, what would you spend the bid IPC on, and where would you place it? I’m trying to gauge a possible standardized starting setup, based on peoples answers to what they see as a fit bid, and then what they buy, and where they place it.
