The term “Palestine” was invented by the Romans as a means to dishonor the Jews, because they hated them. They wanted to file the Jews and the Arabs together in a land called “Palestine” instead of Israel. So really, the “Palestinians” are just Jordanian Arabs that have lived in the region since the great dispersion and, in my opinion, have no rightful claim to the land whatsoever. Now let’s get back to the topic, unusual stuff.

That is neat. I feel sorry for Israelis in some ways. I feel that they have suffered alot with most of the world just turning it’s head.

Things that go "bump" in the night.
On an old forum I used to visit there was a large post where everyone shared all of their scary experiences they’ve had with anything unusual. I thought it might do good on here. Anybody seen a 7’ tall man in a suit go running by?

RE: GAME PIECES
I contacted Wizards of the Coast and they told me svgames.com would be selling extra pieces and other Avalon Hill products in about a week.

RE: Germans taking the united states
I forgot about the IPC’s. They would definitely be useful in grinding Russian infantry under panzer treads. If anyone tries this out let me know.

RE: Germans taking the united states
I think it would be extremely difficult for Germany to take the United States, even if the U.S. player is somewhat inexperienced and the German player is, more or less, a veteran and has luck on his side. I think the best chance the German player stands for victory in the U.S. is as follows.
The German player can spend his 12 IPC’s on a transport in the South Atlantic and an artillery in Morocco. Then on the first turn he can load the 1 infantry and 1 artillery in Morocco onto the transport in the South Atlantic and announce an amphibious assault on the U.S. There is 1 U.S. destroyer and transport in the U.S. East Coast and the German player would have to move all available submarines there to destroy them in order to unload his transport there. The German player can destroy the 2 U.S. ships, unload the infantry and artillery, and, with ALOT of luck, destroy the 2 infantry and aircraft in the U.S. The chances of actually taking the U.S. are, to say in the least, slim, but even the attempt will get the U.S. to concentrate a little more on defense of the homeland and restrict aid to it’s allies, thus buying precious time for Germany to drive to Moscow without worrying about a landing in the West, or try to take Britain without maxium U.S. help. I suppose, even if Germany did capture the U.S., the British player would just attack the probably already weakened German forces with the 1 tank in Canada it has and liberate the U.S. before it could be held more than 1 turn by the Germans.
Anyway, just my 2 cents.
