@AndrewAAGamer I’ll be baited. Unfortunately I think there’s a lot of arrogance displayed by some of the more serious/veteran posters like yourself, Gen. Manstein, etc. It puts me off joining any league on here. I like to post the occasional snippet, read interesting strategies, but that’s it, thanks.

RE: OOB or BM3
@Colt45554 We’ve all been playing since the 90’s in our core 4, and we’ve played almost weekly for the last 8 years.
Out of the box with no bids works perfectly. If you find one side always wins, change up the strategy. Its all in the dice rolls any way you play.

@GEN-MANSTEIN This all stuff you can Google yourself, I’m not here to copy and paste

RE: How to make Pacific Conflict historical
@GEN-MANSTEIN In terms of historical context, when the Soviets finally did declare war on Japan, they didn’t suffer then. One month of fighting, mostly mop up work in Manchuria against a depleted Kwangtung Army, all post atomic.
If the Soviets want to attack earlier in the game, that’s their choice. The suffering is all in the dice rolls

RE: How to make Pacific Conflict historical
@Sgt-Mclusky One easy change to the OOTB rules, Japan can’t declare on the Soviets. Soviets can declare on Japan anytime after war with Germany begins

RE: Use of transport ships
Hey man, with the Naval Base on America’s Eastern USA territory, you can reach Sea Zone 91, bordering Gibraltar and Morocco. You can drop troops in either. Note that your ships can only pass through into the Mediterranean if the Allies control Gibraltar.
You can also get back in one turn via the Naval Base there.
If Germany is building an air fleet, make sure the UK puts an Air Base in Gibraltar for scrambling.
