      Hi  :lol:

      I have another small question,
      First turn: with AH i attack serbia with one infantry, well… The serbian( 3 infantry 1 artillery from russia) units kill my infantry and remain in the territory.
      Now on the russian turn can i move these units as if they were russian or not?

      Got the game today  😄

      3 questions for me :

      1. if i take a territory with a naval base from the enemy, when an enemy make a sea attack against this territory should i roll the mines dice?

      2)the usa player before the 4 turn can:
      a) move ship ?
      b)collect income?
      c) ship his units to europe without attacking central powers?
      D) make purchase

      1. on amphibious assault i have 3 artillery in the territory the attacker has 3 inf and 2 art so what happens?

      A) i roll 3 dice hitting with 3 or less against all the stack
      B) i roll 3 dice against each units landing

      From the rulebook i understand the option B

      Ok consider one thing:

      if italy decides to attack the situation is 18 for the italy and 19 for the uk/french  but there are high chances
      that the carrier is damaged. If the carrier is damaged on the second round italian retreats and the fighters are lost since the south france is lost and there are no friendly territory in the range of one!

      If you are going to lose the fighters on the second round you lose a lot of defensive power and even if you  hurt the italian badly to force them not to continue the attack, however  will be easy for the german air force knock out the remaining UK forces  probably with few unit lost.

      After you loose a lot of british force it will be hard to rebuilt.
      that’s my opinion bye

      1-only for historical reasons no meaning for the game
      2-it’s not suriname roundel but dutch roundel this means that suriname and the island (in the pacific game) are dutch colonies!!!
      3-Are used for global game, when you have to keep separate London and Calcutta on the production chart.

    • Big problem

      hello guys,

      i have now a big problem, I have collected many hours of play playing germany and  in the early games I have won often, but now the things are changing.
      My playmates have created some new moves putting me in crisis, i’m going to explain better:

      Normaly on G1 i buy a major IC (but i have tried also the carrier but sea lion doesn’t work the uk player has his moves against) i sink the british fleet on sea zones : 109, 110, 111, 112
      after i take france  and normandy, finland and bulgary i don’t take yugoslavia on the first in order to not distract units for the barbarossa (G2).
      On G2 i start barbarossa penetrating with all my available troops first in eastern poland,after in belarus and than in smolensk, and  combining at every turn the units produced in romania where the factory is.
      I suppose this is the better strategy but the russian player now doesn’t do counter attack and retires all his infantry and units  back when i was at the gates of moscow he has tons of infantry kinda 50-60 + other units and it’s impossible to think about adirect attack, cause i soon lost my tanks and he has a tons of infantry to lose….

      There is more from turn 3 the production is split for the western and estern front allowing the soviet player to resist more… with a stalemate on eastern front there are no hope to resist on the other fronts.

      If you don’t do the carrier on g1 the engliosh player can built a minor ic in india and with the ic in sud africa can easily crush the italians with a few problems but as i told before making the carrier will make you lost a moves against russia  i dont’t know the deck is short can someone illuminate me with a balanced strategy

      1. if the destroyer doesn’t attack the submarine the submarine stay in peace in the sea zone

      2. if on  german turn the submarine and the destroyer start together the submarine can do its 2 movements and eventualy attack another ship

      3. Only if  a submarine try to cross with his movement a sea zone where there is an enemy destroyer the owner of the destroyer can choose if attack the submarine or not

      i think this should answer to your question

      The problem is :

      can an aircraftcarrier with an attack value of 0 sink a transport

      assuming i attack a sea zone with only a transport in there

      1 carrier VS 1 trasport = ?

      they can build infantries

      first english turn 7 inf 2 art

      second turn 7 inf 2 art

      2 inf e 3 fight there are in uk from the first turn

      german on third turn (the first turn available to make operation sea lion) is strong enough to destroy

      16 inf 4 art 3fighter?

      on third turn the american player is on the sea zone 103 ready to land unit…

      and the russian are undistrurbed.

      I would not bother you in your discussions…
      but it is just a my opinion…
      Sealion is totally impossible with an experienced allied player.
      An experienced uk player can 'easily avoid and defeat all the German strategies.
      There is more…
      preparing sealion it’s a waste of time against the americans and russian supposing you will not declare war on russia during preparations for sealion.

      hi,

      you can attack a convoy simply declaring a convoy attack with a ship that can reach an enemy convoy zone (symbol indicate a convoy zone).

      The normal surface ships cause a loss of 1 to your enemy

      Submarine causes a loss of 2 to your enemy

      Remember each convoy can’t lose more IPC than the total IPC of the territory.

      Example:

      if you attack the english borneo convoy with japanese  with 2 sub and a surface warship your attack is worth 5 (2 for each sub and 1 for the ship) but borneo is worth 4 and can lose a maximum of 4 are enough 2 subs  :lol: .
      that is  8-)

      ok i’m not kreighund but i try to reply when you enter into the japan sea zone during your combat movement  japanese player can scramble aircrafts cause you are attacking a sea zone, remember the scramble happens when your aircrafts are on an island with an operative air base, and they can be alone in defending sea zone.

      impossible to portray Africa correctly in proportion to Europe. the board would have to be like 5 or 6 ft north to south

      yes probably you are right…

      and i did’t mean problems about game just an inaccuracy concerning the design of afrika.
