I have always wondered how the “order of battle” is determined for each nation in the Axis and Allies series.  Would it be reasonable to assume (for example in AAE 1940) that the infantry and tank pieces approximate a “division” size equivalent in terms of men and material?  Just curious what others think.  Thank you.

I am new to the fourm and just started playing AAE 1940.  One question regarding combined arms attacks.  If an artillery pairs with an infantry to increase the infantry attack rating, is the artillery piece still available to attack on its own?  Thank you.
