    • RE: Beginner's Strategy Handouts?

We met and played yesterday, with some very incomplete versions of these that I slapped together.

They were appreciated and at least got them thinking in an analytical way about the game.  I also think it helped them to quantify what the variables are to play.

I don’t know if they will be of use to anyone else, but here they are:

The game was a hit, so I am hoping to make this a regular event.

Once again, if anyone has any feedback on how to make these better, please let me know.

      Thanks.

    • RE: If Germany had invaded USA and took the same area…

Ahhh. Thanks! Was able to find who put out that info but not who
      Published.

It should be noted that it was basically communist propaganda pushed by their American stooges shortly after their proposed alliance with the Nazis fell through. Not very convincing as both the geography and the situation was radically different but a very interesting piece so thank you.  I love this stuff. Please post more.

    • RE: MOVIES 2018

Star Trek movies should be watched as follows: Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search of Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Continues, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.  Then get really drunk and watch Star Trek V and pretend that it makes sense… There are a few scenes in there worth watching, but it really is a mess.

You are now done watching Star Trek motion pictures.  It is kinda sad, but even this fanboy realizes that the actors were getting old and the writers were running out of ideas, so it is almost certainly for the best there was never another Star Trek movie made.

well, here is a first take on Russia.  It was both the first one, and as it has the fewest options, perhaps the simplest one:

Well, I guess I will start revising these myself.

I would really, REALLY enjoy some suggestions as to some turn one strategies.

Anyone have some suggestions for what everyone’s first round purchases should be ?

    • Beginner's Strategy Handouts?

I am trying to get a group of friends to start playing A&A and I was hoping that someone had created something similar to the old CSub Beginner’s Strategy Guides updated/changed to reflect A&A 1941 rules/map.  I just love the simple straightforward way they put everything you needed to know to get going on a single sheet of paper.

Anyone see anything like that or have any interest in helping me, a newbie myself, update the originals?

Here is an example of what I am speaking of:

I think I saw some tweaks to A&A 1942 SE balancing for tournament play still going on from Larry though, right?
