    well, on the plus side I’m going to see something new in this game with a Japanese attack on Russia…on the bad side I dont think I have ever seen Japan on a Red space…no clue what to do.


  • This is my j3 attack copied from Cow’s Japan strategy guide.

    I like to grab the 5 bucks free from Russia in the North by J2 and weaken them up for Germany.

    If you think about it it’s like an extra National Objective for Japan by the second round without losing the free money from not being at war with the western allies.

    Since my Yugo attack only hit 4 the first round as Germany I decided to slingshot the troops via retreat into Romania, setting up an all-out two front assault on Russia.

    I thought Cow advocated a J1 or no-later-than J2 attack?

    5 IPC for japan though is going to take 3 turns just to break even on the extra inf russia gets from mongolia, plus diverts troops from China.  Money now is better than troops in siberia however, so you would win that arguement in my books.  Interesting to see how it plays out.

    Sorry I havn’t been able to post a turn from work, its been a busy couple of days.  I’ll post a move this evening after my kids go to bed, or tomorrow morning before work
