    I like this wheat-rule…very fair.

    Actually Boldfresh proposed that specific scheme, though I have been using low luck reroll exchanges for awhile the addition of a mutually determined limit to rerolls sounds really good to me (as opposed to turn based reroll accumulation which others have proposed).

    I am not sure how allowing it on defense will play out though. That may require NCM/placement alterations for the attacker if used by the defending power.

    Bold, can I assume if the defender uses the token, that the attacker has the right to amend NCM/placement since the map could be really different post-reroll?

    And what would happen if the Axis wanted a reroll from the USA’s turn that could affect China or UK?

    In practice it isnt really that tough.  The reroll will not be used willy nilly.  I will give you a few more issues to consider b4 my scramble choices.

    a LL reroll must go at least one round.

    on offense:  if you are going to take the LL reroll, it must be taken immediately after the attack you are going to reroll.

    on defense:  if the defender is to take a LL reroll, it must be taken before he continues with his next turn.  the attacker should have a pretty decent idea that a LL reroll will be considered by the defender and can wait for defender to say yea or nay if in doubt.  i have no doubt we can work out any differences in opinion as we go along and as i said, each side has only one, so it will not be spent carelessly.
