• Hey need some help!
Proposed question, Imagine that sweeping changes in Washington have radically altered how the United States conducts foreign policy with the Far East.  To save money, all existing ambassadors and foreign service employees in foreign countries have been replaced by a single representatives, the Grand Pooh-Bah of U.S. intersts in Asia.
As a world-famous historian and expert on the “Far East”, you have been asked to advise this newly appointed representative.  Unfortunately, the Rep. is a wealty political appointee, has a short attention span, no knowledge of the region, and more interest in golf than history.
Your task is to breif the Rep. on the historical background of the complex relationshios between China, Japan, and Vietnam and the imperialist giants of England, France, and the U.S.
Ok, its your chance to rule the major sceen, have political power. What would you feel is important?
    Thanks Narsis
