@ButterSurge hello! I am a Global War 36 player, i am interested in trying this scenario out but, id like to limitations on when things happen. One of the things i like about global war is that the axis can attack and declare war as they please, which puts a fun spin it the game in my opinion. With that being said, have you done a test game without the set time declarations?
Sue for Peace, and individual victory conditions.

Anyone toyed with ideas on individual victory conditions? And what those encompass? For Global 1940 of course. America? UK and subordinate powers, Germany? Italy? Japan? Russian Comintern?
As well, The ability to sue for peace, and make agreements that are rule binding (IE both parties agree no attacks until such a turn or whatever.) - coupled with individual conditions, Might prove to be interesting…
Comments appreciated.

Maybe have some historical victory conditions such as Soviets having a line of territories form Moscow to Berlin and America liberating all french european teritorries and controlling Berlin

This is best suited to a 4 player game in which Japan and the USSR are in effect independent powers, able to make their own alliances.
So we’d have:
The Capitalist powers: USA, KMT#, UK & Commonwealth, France & Empire, Dutch/Belgian/Danish colonies
The Fascist Powers: Germany & Italy
The Communists: USSR & CCP*
The Japanese Empire
Alliances between any two of the 4 players should be strictly limited; no sharing territory.
The simplest idea for winning conditions is the greatest number of VCs held over the player’s starting total after an agreed number of rounds.
#Chinese Nationalists. Chungking as VC and capitol.
*Chinese Communists. Yenan as VC and de facto capitol.
The Chinese factions can attack each other without the West & USSR going to war with each other. They both consider ALL Chinese territories as “home”. However, USSR forces cannot attack the KMT, or the Westerners the CCP without provoking war with that player. My current list of VCs:
USA: Washington, Manilla, Honolulu
KMT: Chungking
France: Paris, Algiers, Saigon?, Dakar?
UK: London, Cairo, Cape Town, New Delhi, Singapore, Sydney
Germany: Berlin
Italy: Rome, Addis Ababa
USSR: Moscow, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Kiev, Chelyabinsk, Vladivostok
CCP: Yenan
Japan: Tokyo, Nanking (considered to be the true capitol of China)Possible neutral country VCs: Montevideo, Madrid, Athens, Baghdad/Tehran, Batavia (Dutch)

For US why not add San Fran or LA
-
Because it’s very unlikely to change hands and affect the result. But then, same for Washington…
So, yes, it should be added.

WHAT IS CCP?

Chinese communists

Rule set made by me:
Any power during their turn may form an alliance with another power. It can include non aggression, ceasefire, surrender, etc. To break a non aggression or a ceasfire cost 15ipcs. You may un surrender if your ally gives 1 turn of income 2 you. The capitol though, must be free of enemy units to unsurrender yourself.
