Both games will be released as Second Edition but from the sales solicitation flyers it look like very little has changed in the game. We speculate that only the rules will have changed.

Do you know when you will receive your preview copy?

  2. Joshua says:

I would rather have seen new French units than new Italian units, and I would CERTAINLY rather have seen new French units than new ANZAC units (Why new ANZAC units, anyway?).

  3. Joshua says:

Will there be Japan-specific mechanized infantry this time?

  4. Joshua says:

“new ANZAC units” Or do they mean new as in updated British as opposed to new as in different?

  5. Joshua says:

Nothing about new French units. (Sigh.) Maybe they’ll at least be British or even American sculpts this time, rather than Russian, which made no sense?

  6. Sam Mutschler says:

maybe they will fix some of the misprints on the pacific map…

  7. Darren Taylor says:

Based on the info given so far, if you already own the 1940 games, it’s really not worth dropping the cash for the second editions just for a few new scultps and one new unit which, as it turns out, doesn’t really play that much of an exciting role in the game anyway.
If you bought 1942 second edition, you can always add the AAA units to your exsisting copies of 1940 europe or pacific. It wouldn’t be too difficult.
Sam, what misprints on the Pacific map are you referring to? Just curious.

  8. Sam Mutschler says:

SZ 5 is not supposed to touch any chinese territory, it’s only supposed to touch Russian territory. I think it’s worth buying the games if you’re a collector like myself. I also hope they make the oceans the same color and use the higher quality cardboard for complexes and national markers.

  9. cwwgateway says:

Also Honolulu is on the wrong island, and the convoy symbols are too dark (my personal preference I guess) to see without looking for them specifically.

  10. Twisterguy says:

I Cant wait till it comes out! 😀

  11. oneroso says:

Im excited for this because i almost dropped $400 on a 1940 Euro+Pac. Gonna get this and probably 1941 for when my noob friends come over.

  12. Yavid says:

I’m hoping they make the maps the same color this time. the oceans are a different color of blue and the Russian territories are a different color of brownish/red. Drives my OCD crazy. It’s the first thing I see everytime I look at the map. It’s like nails on a chaulkboard for my eyes.

  13. Richard says:

Where can i buy these and what will the cost be. I cannot find anything on the internet.

  14. Augustine says:

Does anyone have a price estimated for them separately?

  15. Drew says:

I wish they would have the option of just getting replacement pieces and instruction books, because I have all the games except the new 1940 in their original version, and I really would rather not by the exact same game for a few things that if they sold separately I would buy and could make the same game.

  16. David says:

the retail price is $90 for each. And [some websites are] having a sale on these games for $58.50 each. It is a preorder so you better preorder it while the supplies last!

  17. Twisterguy says:

Only problem with this “Perfect ww2 board game” is where to buy it, It would been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy sooooooooooo easy if they would just sell it on like this side, or have a link to where to buy it..Instead of searchin the world internet and After a long while you just give up and leave it..

PS. I love this game! 😀

  18. Sam says:

I’ve never had any trouble finding any axis and allies games on the internet. There a lot of websites (companies) that are selling AA board games.

  19. David says:

Does anyone know if this is released in UK?

  20. Richard says:

If there are so many sites selling them then can someone please post the links.

  21. Twisterguy says:

I cant agree more then I do with the comment above by Richard.

And If these guys realy would like to sell this board game easy why dont they just tell “here you buy this crap” button or something like that!

Nooo you had to give out alot of rights and shit to other noob companys and stuff so now you cant buy the board game because we made like 500 and 499 of them we only sell to USA, the rest goes randomly to UK- This is how i feel it!

You know what, Me and 4 other friends where going to buy this game..but not anymore, we have sent emails and a “handwriten” letter to Wizard to explain how we feel about this!

We wont buy anything from them anymore! Even so that we want this its so bloody darn hard to finde. And you people that say “Its all easy duh! its just search on the internet i found alot of stores that sell! duh!”

Then tell what the store name is you little..God! Does people makes me just so angry..

Btw, its still an Epic game and i wanna buy it..

  22. A.J. says:
