      @Timtheconquerer:

      Wow $110? I know soo many people who would love to get the Anniversary Edition, but can’t find them anywhere, and when they do, it’s more than the $225 I’m asking. They personally just do not want to pay that much for ANY game. Where are they for sale at? I know Avalon has not re released any yet.

      On Amazon, it’s about $600

      Go to meetup.com, then in interets put in axis and allies with your zip code. I found a group that is in St. louis, and they meet a couple times a month. Just thought I would share with all of you.

      Hello all. From a previous post, I saw that many people looked at it about any players from St. Louis, but not many responses. I just wanted to clarify that I am looking for some face to face games in the St. Louis area. Would prefer AA Anniversary. Thanks, and have a nice day.

      I’m in St. Louis as well. I host a meetup.com group for Axis and Allies. We play the board games, currently the newest ones: AA1940 versions.

      Here is a link to our organization:

      http://www.meetup.com/St-Louis-Axis-and-Allies-boardgamers/

      I host events at local game stores the Second Saturday and Forth Sunday of each month.

      Other members sometimes host events as well, and when my wife is on afternoons I host events the other weekends of that month, in our finished basement.

      We have about 10 active members out of 45 or so. We usually have 1 to 2 games running at each event. The game stores will accommodate 4-5 game tables if we grow large enough.

      Skill levels range from new, to classic game, to veteran. We are friendly and eager to teach new players. You can just watch if you are so inclined as well.
