Thanks, Cyanight. You make excellent points No question I did blow my top there somewhat. It’s pretty cool that you were able to defeat a guy of Mr. Roboto’s skill level even after losing in France G1.
Interestingly, we both pursued almost the exact same attack plan with Germany. I would note, however, that all my battles were pretty much disasters: I got wiped out in S France, too, and didn’t take it, either; I got wiped out in sz 106 and still left UK with a transport, and I took a heavy beatin’ in sz 111 while hardly making a dent in the UK’s fleet. Throw that in with the complete debacle in France and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry :-D
Nonetheless, it’s poor form to quit like that. The best way to learn how to deal with adversity is to actually play it out, because as you’ve noted, it can be done. So your advice is well appreciated. :-)
