      I saw on Smorey Swamp that Commanders and Tactics WW2 Deck Building Game was played at Gencon. I have been trying to find the game on BGG with no luck. If anyone knows this game and can provide a link that would be awesome.

      What you can do is:

      Enter the chat with your respective chat partner. On the upper right of the chat window click on the arrows symbol to enlarge the chat window. Scroll to the very beginning of your chat. Use the search-feature of your browser, then.

      @Slip-Capone This is not likely to happen anytime soon. The game mechanics of 1914 are too different so the game engine would need a lot of new code. It is way more than simply adding a new map.

      The final score after 6 full rounds was Entente 29 Central Powers 27.

      There are special rules that keep the game flowing, looks like a 6 hour limit per game. G42 is 7h 45m which, almost all games run 7 turns…so would think 6-7 turns for WW1?

      1st: Robert Sprague /Brian Mackoway
      2nd: Andrew Wells/Jesse White

      Won in 2018. Smorey records the bids and victors…but maybe not for WW1? Its not a particularly large tournament, maybe 4 boards in round 1 with 8 teams would be a large turnout? And exact events may be reshuffled in 2019 since AAZ and Masters have been added.

      Thanks mate.

      I think the set up from the FAQ was what I was thinking of. After posting I also found Saburo Sakai’s recommendation of using the OOB set up, 24 VPs for Japanese Victory and giving the Allies an extra 12-16 IPCs to spend on turn one.

      My group hasn’t had many plays of this version and to keep it in rotation keeping it as balanced as possible is a priority.

      You can set Projection of Power, Honorable Surrender or Total Victory in the game options.

      You can modify the values only by editing the respective game.xml.
