RE: Sired's Map project - Updated- 4/16 - files available see first post
Hey Siredblood,
Congrats on the ‘Bloodbath’ Tourney, it looks like it was a great time from your video on Youtube.
Just a couple questions on your map files that are available to purchase and download for $20. Is the OOB map file completely true to the original?
- OOB Anzac Roundel
- All IPC values returned to normal
- Removal of cavalry from Mongolian territories
- OOB Italy Roundel
- OOB Far East Command Roundel
- OOB German Red and Black Roundels
Thank you for your time, and your hard work on this project,
Rand.

Hello,
If Japan bombs the Industrial Complex in India and captures it, what happens? The complex is.downgraded to.a minor factory, but will the minor factory have damage on it thatJapan will have to repair?

RE: Anniversary Italian Tanks
Try I will never grow up website, they are breaking up the Field Marshal Game Italian sets and selling them by the piece. You can get the FMG Combat Units - Italy - Carro Armato 41 Tank. It is close to what you want plus higher quality. Just bought a bunch myself.

Tips for Building an Abacus
Hello, I’m looking to build an abacus or two for the custom table I have planned. Went to Michaels, a hobby store in Canada, and found some pre-drilled wooden beads. I figure I can stain them easy enough, but was wondering what people used for the rod that the beads slide on? Metal rods? From a metal shop? And what do you use for supports for the abacus?
Thanks for the feedback. -
RE: FMG Italians vs G40.2 Italians
The infantry and plane sculpts alone are worth this purchase. I took the Italian officer model and combined it with a HBG ‘Blackshirts’ roundel, looks fantastic. Italy doesn’t always play a huge part in the overall game, but the pieces sure look nice even if they never leave their tray.

All the sculpts were top notch. Detail and quality are phenomenal. Leatherneckinlv’s photos dont show the level of quality on the Honolulu piece, there is a tiny cross on top of the sculpt, really adds to it. Really like the painting on Leatherneckinlv’s models.

RE: Breaking News - Shapeways.com
Got my sets in the mail. Have to say that I am very impressed with the pieces. I concur with basically everything that Leatherneckinlv has stated about the sculpts. Not a fan of the size of Leningrad or Ottawa, beautiful pieces just need to be downsized. I do not like the Cairo pyramid, too big for sure, and not 100% on the design itself. Maybe a sculpt with a couple pyramids on it? Or would that be too close to the Ossel design? Leatherneckinlv beat me to the pictures and the painting, so I won’t jam up the thread with unnecessary pictures. I love the Shanghai pieces and plan to reorder the upsized original capital city pieces.
Thanks to eBard for letting me pre-order.

Leatherneckinlv,
Just wondering what pieces you thought were a tad too big. Hoping to get my pieces next week. Cheers, Rand.

RE: Historical Board Gaming Piece Colors
Hey Bob77, I purchased the same yellowgreen 75-7 Veld artillery for my Chinese forces and I was happy with them. Colour is not 100% on, but there is always the option of painting them to match. The models themselves looked great on the board, rugged mountain guns.
