So whats your favorite hero? It doesn’t matter if thier German, Soviet, American, British, Japanese, Chinese, Candian, Australian, French or even Swiss! Actually if you can list one for each nation. It can be a famed sniper, officer, corpsmen, or your own grandfather even if he was just a desk clerk. Mine favorite Russian is either Sgt. Pavlov or sniper Vasily Zaytsev. Pavlov held a house until relieved by the Soviet counterstrike in Stalingrad for months. And Visily got over 200 kills with a sniper rifle. For m America I’d have to say my next door neighbor (or used to be because he’s in a better place, and no i dont mean Cleveland). He fought in teh Battle of the Bulge. I didnt hear much about it but I heard he sat in a foxhole for weeks on end without showering. A simple feat but In my opion just fighting in such a battle makes you a hero.

National Betrayals
So has anyone on this forum heard of a national bertayal? Where one nation declares war on another when they were allies? Sure we all know about Germany and the Soviets and how they had a deal about not fighting prior the the War but I’m talking like Star Wars. Like when all the clones gun down the jedi in episode 3. If you havent seen Star Wars no hard feelings but you have no sense of classic movies :-). So have any of you heard of this? What if the Americans got a call on a secure radio channel and all started killing British, Canadian, Free French, and other Ally forces? The reason I want to know is I’m making a variant of a variant. I’m altering ILs game “Great War” (thanks you so much for posting that :-D) so that you can play it freeform. What if Italy helped the Central Powers? What if Austria-Hungary turned on thier ally Germany when they saw the war was a lost cause? Also if you have any other ideas I should include in this tell me. I love transforming games, giving them new rules, and just downright improving them. Even the best game can be made better. So give me some input!

RE: Axis and Allies Express Series
No were just deciding who will make what game for our own series. So that way Sun Tzu doesnt make exporter and I dont make winter war. I dont care of someone makes thier own version of exprter. And if its better “Hey! All the more reason to make it!”

RE: Travel Axis & Allies set?
He’s incorporating Yugosalvia (Operation Husky) into the game. Idk about turkey but it was neutral throught the majority of the war.

I think you should make the game first, play it a while, then decide a limit. Thats what I’m doing.

RE: Great War 1914-18
IL could you explain how allying with neutral nations works? I want to try this where everyone controls a major nation and Spain Turkey and Italy are neutral. Then you can make alliances however you want.
