I live on the other side of Phoenix in Surprise. It’s a distance, but we could met in the middle if that isn’t too long of a drive for you. I play with another who lives in the middle between both of us.

@Young-Grasshopper,
I just sent you an email -
How do you know who controls the airfields?
How do you know who controls the airfields? I know there aren’t a lot of airfields and that it’s probably not that hard to keep track but still? I am missing something? I know that for islands you just place a control marker, but airfields can be controlled without controlling the island.
I was thinking of just facing the airfields in a certain way (I.e. airstrip towards US vs airstrip towards Japan). But if there is another way then I would be glad to hear it.

Help maintaining printed maps
So, I need some help when in comes to maintaining/taking care of printed maps,
I have a printed vinyl map, but when I stored it away I guess I didn’t roll it up and put it away properly as when I pulled it pack out the edges were all extremely crumpled as the map’s weight literally caused it to fold itself on the bottom.
How do I prevent this from happening? Is there anyway to undo my crumpled map edges? I really don’t want to buy another map because it was very expensive and I really don’t have the money to buy one at the moment. Additionally, is there anything else when it comes to maintenance that I need to be aware of?
Thank you for any help given.

RE: NEW Larry Harris GAME ANNOUNCEMENT ON NIGHTINGALE GAMES LLC
More news has been released about Larry’s new game. Nightingale Games have posted a video about it online which I have linked below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2Tp3ndePZk
It will be called “Imperial Borders” in which players will use both diplomacy and might to conquer Europe after the Napoleonic Wars have ended.

No longer on Amazon?
So someone post on the AxisAllies reddit page that they could no longer find Axis And Allies 1940 on Amazon. I decided to check it out and they were gone for me too.
Looking up Axis And Allies 1940 on amazon gave me all the other Axis And Allies games but no 1940 second edition?
Does anyone else have this problem?

RE: Board Frames
I think it’s just a part of their board. I think they’ve printed their custom modified playing board onto like a vinyl sheet and the white is just the extra area of the sheet.

RE: Axis And Allies Wikipedia False Info
@barnee I think he is hopefully done now, its been back and forth adding and removing it. I think he just happened to make a game that was coincidentally similar to Axis And Allies. You can look at the edits log and find what it looked like.
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Axis_%26_Allies&oldid=946660729
This is what the wikipedia page looked like when I first saw it -
RE: Axis And Allies Wikipedia False Info
He hasn’t replied to any of the words I put in both the View History and the Talk Page, he even created his own sub section about him inventing it!
Im putting on the article itself a response, I hope that he’ll be able to see it if it is actually on the article, but if he doesn’t reply then I dont know what ill do

Axis And Allies Wikipedia False Info
I didn’t know where to put this, I figured this is best.
Okay, so I went onto the Axis & Allies Wikipedia page and I was shocked with what I saw.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axis_%26_Allies
Someone claims that Axis And Allies was NOT invented by Larry Harris but instead with zero evidence states that it was made by an Earle and Scott Hayford, and was ripped off by Milton Bradley.I am just at a loss of words. Just published on the article’s talk page an explanation on how this is impossible.

RE: Which edition is best?
@Dethstrok9 You should do Global 1940! You’ll need both Pacific and Europe 1940 to play it and it is 32 by 70 inches! It is one of the best Axis And Allies games ever made.

Wrong image for Wikipedia page of this game.
I’ve noticed that the Wikipedia page for this game has the wrong game for its image! And yet from what I can tell everything else is correct.
Now I don’t actually own a copy of the game to be able to fix it but if anyone else wants to you can change it.

RE: What If There Was A Box For Neutral Peices?
@JustLuthor I have the True Neutral Lid done (All true neutrals and mongolia). I’ll work on the other one soon. Let me know if you need the sides of the box too. The colors may not be fully match with out of game box if printed out.
True Neutral Box -
RE: What If There Was A Box For Neutral Peices?
@JustLuthor I’ll make a printable version for soon. The lid doesn’t have enough lines for all the neutral territories so it’s only the Neutrals on the Europe board (AKA everyone but Mongolia)
With that in mind, do you want me to separate it into Pro Allied, Pro Axis, and True Neutral lids?
Also I only made the lid, the rest is just the regular box. I can make/scan the rest of it if needed.

RE: Axis And Allies Anniversary Now Out Of Print
I think he thought you where talking about D-Day because he asked if D-Day was leftovers and your post was then stating that it was leftovers (for anniversary). Also the use of the word “Reinforcement” because Anniversary used the word Mobilization but D-Day does directly use the word Reinforcement.
(Also, am I doing something wrong if almost all of my Axis and Allies games end with most of the board empty because they just for some reason turn up like that)

Axis And Allies Anniversary Now Out Of Print
(Don’t know if this belongs in News or Axis And Allies Anniversary, if so please move)
Got Anniversary last month and it had a damaged rulebook, box, and peice trays. It was still listed as a Supported Game for Production Replacement online so I asked for replacement peices.
I used the online chat to place my replacement request and when I gave the game to the worker he said that they don’t support that game anymore until he looked and said that they still do. This made me suspicious that they wouldn’t support it anymore…
My replacements still arrived, 2 days ago, but I just looked on their website again and guess what! Axis And Allies Anniversary is no longer supported as it is out of print. (Glad I put my request in time).

RE: AAZ: Missing Balkan Card / No Russian port (coastal IC)
I don’t know about the Balkan Card, but the missing port was probably intended, Axis And Allies 1941 also doesn’t have a port and the Axis And Allies Zombies map is pretty simular to it.
