Yes, I’d let them remain Dutch too.  One of the points of this house rule idea is to give the Dutch their own units, to rectify their rather odd status of having their own map roundel but no actual combat forces – so if the Dutch units were converted into plain old UK or ANZAC units when one of those countries lands in the DEI, it would spoil the fun.  And from a historical point of view, it’s likewise accurate to keep them Dutch: the Dutch components of ABDACOM remained Dutch during the DEI campaign, even though they were part of a coalition.

I also agree that the Dutch infantry units should gallantly fight and die where they stand.  As Marshall Mac Mahon famously said at Sevastopol in 1855, “J’y suis, j’y reste!” – here I am and here I will stay.

DOW is supposed to occur at the beginning of the combat move phase, after purchases/repairs/tech

That was one of the biggest problems - TripleA made you make DOW decisions before seeing your tech rolls.  Of course you could always edit…. but it was just wrong.  Fixed now.  Yay.

i live in europe as well and once i ordered some chips only…cost less then 50 $. there had been no harassment like special taxes etc. i think for small pieces like tokens you won´t have to pay any tax.

The US must be at War.  Either post US3 collect income phase, or the Axis have declared war against them. The UK cannot land on the US carrier until the US is at war. Once they are at war, then BOTH units defend.

So it sounds like you moved a UK fighter onto a US carrier illegally.

He didn’t say he landed it, he ask “what happens if…”

I agree completely with Dangermouse. He has done some nice paint jobs himself. But it simply TAKES TIME! If you have someone else painting them for you,…you are still going to have to pay them FOR THEIR TIME. A painter with lesser talents would probably take more time,…and a professional will simply will cost more, read EXSPENSIVE!

I would encourage you to try painting them yourself. You’ll get better as you gain experience, and probably have some fun, too. There are several people on here that have painted their own pieces, and even some tutorials to help you out. They’re not hard to find, either. Just look around. You CAN DO IT! Good Luck.
