Thank you.
Hypothetically if Germany made that attack and the two planes which needed the carrier died could Germany change its mind concerning where the carrier would be built?
Thank you.

Germany is fixing to attack a british navy in the English Channel. Two of the attacking planes must land on a carrier Germany plans on building in that sea zone out of its Normandy factory.
Is this a legal attack?
Thanks in advance
To some extent we agree about how strong Russia is. If Germany forces Sealion on a prepared England Russia is DANGEROUS.
Otherwise I feel Germany has the iniative especially with the US pushing Japan.
Honestly I havent played Russia alone in a multi player game yet. While my wife is watching the biggest looser I was wondering what I would do with Russia alone.
Yes it is! Giving up India then a couple turns later the Aussies because America went all in on some Normandy or Norway plan is just something they are not prepared to do.
Russia has little choice. Either they fall back and turtle safely which I love or they have some give and go. Dont get me wrong, my good Russia opponent never gives up Moscow to some cheezy Italian can opener but I can usually trap things like a small Lenningrad defense force and kill them with the can opener. Last game I trapped 7inf up there.
Ya gotta understand, I am the guy who gets excited about being a pawn up in chess.
How to say…. I do believe it takes more vision and experience to win woth the axis but if both players have it the allies must somehow steal the iniative to tip the scales in their favor.
doesnt it take until roind two for Anzac to get their bonus anyway? The transport starts off in an unfortunate position.
(I am away from my board so i may be wrong)
Japan had such an advantage in most P40 groups. I believe them to be key here as well. It takes some skill to ignore them 18 Russian inf until six infantry and your whole airforce can kill them.
In general America builds 90% Europe first couple turns of our games. This lets Japan just spring out! Be adventurous and build your Japanese Asian complex far from home where you can ignore China.
The axis have always had it harder. In this game germany needs to use their armor and mech as mobile killimg machines. Japan’s fighters must know where to be a turn ahead of time. Get that down and the allies will have their hands full.
In my current game as the Axis I have turned down two 70 pip germany 80 pip russia moscow battles because I the axis feel japan is getting stronger every turn more so than the americans are.
That is pretty awsome! I love mobile well used forces like that.
Interesting. Usually i worry about a 25ipc India funneling troops into Russia so my Japan goes after India pretty heavy. Turn 4 though is quick.
Thanks for figuring out the math btw.
I might feint at this to distract the Russians from supporting China and India. Thus helping my general goal of letting Japan conquer the world.
In this game especially my German strategy is starting to resemble my chess strategy. I use the threat of check, er territory loss, to create a situation where Germany can kill Allied units to with little loss of their own.
In the older, smaller games this was easy in the east since the German airforce was closer. Now I invite Brits into Normandy to be killed every turn and go north and south in Russia achieving little numerical victories killing time waiting for the Japanese to eliminate India, threaten the Aussies and bleed Russuan IPCs.
Anyone else do this? My J2 or 3 Malaysa attack and factory usually excites the Americans to spend some money in the Pacific for some reason.
I have grown fond of making it look like my german tanks and mech in are far away close to stalingrad so the Russians move a third of their forces from Lenningrad to one of the polands. Then I pull the fast units back quickly with the help of the italians and kill a bunch of Russians.
Calvin you are FAST
Do you have your cell phone set to notify you of new posts somehow?
Yeah but not much in this game. My board is always saved mid game.
Playing against yourself the enemy usually notices what is going on and forces the attacker to have the “perfect” strategy. No counting on taking Australia because they don’t see it coming or that it can be blocked with a destroyer. BUT you learn that filling up 4 transports and landing them a square off Sydney is pretty tough for the Aussies to overcome.
Let’s say the US and ANZAC both have fighters on US Hawaii which has a functional Airbase and the US only has naval units in the water around it.
When the Japanese attack do both the US and ANZAC get to launch fighters in defense of the US fleet?
Thanks in advance of this problem coming up!
Sea Lion is a big concern for London and when it is pulled off easily it greatly helps the Axis.
Germany gets soo much money to spend G2.
Russia can be aggressive in the east easier than against Germany. A couple mechs and tanks in China are loads of fun and can last the whole game to liberate lightly defended Chinese territories if used carefully.
Against Germany Russia needs to be careful if Germany has built many mech inf. My current opponent is good about not loosing Moscow or any of the factories to an Italian can opener move but I was able to isolate then kill 20+ units of his Lenningrad defense force for a minimal loss.
Russia is pretty useful in both theaters as well. Land units of course. Rather fun to get the mech inf and tanks into China or even India.
The raid is the first thing England can do to make Sealion easier on the Germans so its a tough choice. Try the raid and building a tank in that south african factory, PLEASE!
Just came up. If India does not own all its territories but London does own all of its does London collect its ‘all original’ objective?
