My bad, either way, still a pretty cool find. The plans on the show had both the airborne and amphibious landings. Just thought you might find it interesting.

Operation Neptune battle plans on Pawn Stars
Watching a repaeat of “Pawn Stars” (2011) and some guy brings in a top secret briefing dossier with the attack plans and after battle hot wash for “Operation Neptune” airborne invasion of Normandy.
Since the documents could be used for archival purposes only (they would fade if framed and hung on wall) the shop did not buy them but confirmed that they were authentic. Â :-o

RE: How much time to be at war?
At that rate 1 hour = approx. 1 year.
Anyone use a chess timer or sand timer to keep the game moving?

RE: Any news on reprint of both games ? Im hesitant to buy copies currently ><
Are the grey chips that HBG offers exact matches? Meaning, do they stack properly? I ask because the new chips in 1940 don’t stack with my old ones. Thanks.
Really??? To my knowledge, all AA chips from Classic to today were squirted from the same mold. Yes, HBG’s work fine. Which game has your mismatching chips?
1984-87 (white ones) do not work with the new chips (gray ones). They don’t interlock/stack correctly. I made the mistake of ordering a 1987 parts lot off of ebay and found out the hard way.

RE: 1940 oob pieces: scale and color matching
Thanks, those scales seem to be a good rule of thumb. What source do you use for you 1/600 planes?

1940 oob pieces: scale and color matching
Hello, my first post on these forums.
Could someone provide the scales for the various oob game pieces (ie. 1/72 for infantry)?
Edit: Answer from group:
Tanks 1/300 to 1/285
Planes 1/600 to 1/700
Ships 1/2400 to 1/4000
Infantry 1/87 to 1/72Also, what paint (brand/color name/#) do you use to match the color of the various oob pieces?
Thanks!
Andrew
