well this is interesting.Global game is supposed to start after Dunkirk evacuation jun 4 1940 and before paris falls jun14.Historically,Italy joins war jun 10,so arguably neutral at the beginning of a global game.So perhaps if Germany retreats from Paris G1 and has not landed air or passed through italy ,then Italy is still neutral UK1. Is Uk allowed to start war with Italy and if so would a Taranto raid spark a similar outrage in Italy that Pearl Hbr sparked in USA?

I think it’s a great idea.  Also a Soviet sub or two in the Pacific off Amur might help dissuade a Japanese invasion. They should look into this during the next Alpha revision.

Unfortunately, the French were not willing to advance beyond the range of the guns in the Maginot line. Not really. French army enter in the Saar region in the middle of September and stay there till the end of October and they decide to withdraw behind the Maginot line.( French army lost 263 men and Germany 198…) AL.

There are some old versions of Global 1940 as Alpha1 and Alpha2? In TripleA there are Original, Alpha 3 and Second Edition, but exists another Alpha in .xml?
