RE: American split income?
May I chime in here and say dont forget that it could be considered that those few tuff russian soliders that held that , what was it 1 or 2 square miles of what was left of stalingrad, played a large part of an allied win. If Hitler had a better dice roll on that battle maybe Russia would have been lost and that changes things a bit. U.S. may have had to make a 100% dedication to Europe theater, with a defence posture on the west cost.

RE: What do we want in AAE40 that we didn't get in AAP40?
well then it skews the worth of a 10 fighter, I may wish to invest 50 icp’s to stack 5 fighters ontop o 10 inf knowing that i can can defend with my fighters for ten hits. Now if i have to think about you coming with 7 fighters to my territoy against 2 fighters of mine than it mess’s with the whole mechanics of a game i have loved since 86. I would consider a game with that many changes would just be a new game, maybe even step up form A&A as far as realism.Me personaly would not graduate to that game, my flag is firmly planted to Larry Harris’s way of doing things, just enuff reality with enjoyabilty. T he game still brings up discuscion about historic battles in my play group, wish sparks the imagination so its about all I need, also more complex the game the less beer can be dranken.

RE: We appreciate the grandness of global game but
Have you seen it? That is a real collectable. The thought of a wood a&a board raised 2 1/2 inches setting in my war room puts a smile on my face? So yea that what im saying.

We appreciate the grandness of global game but
Have you guys seen the onyx version of Risk at Barnes and Nobel?
I would love a slightlly increased in size version of Spring 1942, maybe with air and naval bases and if it was done similar to that edition. I would happily give up another $100 for another version. I wonder if you guys would agree?
Sorry if off topic but I played my first game of risk in 10 years and might put Pac40 up for a week or two. -

Does this indicate limited run or pacific1940 bieng fixed?
After getting my second copy of Pacific 1940, cuz i am a extra piece junkie, I was told by my trust worthy hobby shop owner that he was trying to get more copies of Pacific 1940 and that the distributor told him it was sold out. Now I know copies are still being sold but does that indicate a limited runor are they pulling to fix problems. What d you experts think?
