Shapeways gives you endless ways to get lots of ships. I stay away from them because I hate to paint. Variable hooks me up with awesome paint jobs when I need them.

RE: MOVIES 2015
I recently saw Whiplash, Nightcrawler, and Kill the Messenger. All fantastic and highly recommended.

Au Revior Marty B!
Helluva career.
Sucked seeing you in a Blues jersey but you gotta do what you gotta do. Please stay retired. I’m sure Dominik Hasek is already inquiring about your vacant roster spot.

RE: Pulp Fiction Decoded
My favorite line of the movie is when the bartender, Paul asks Jules and Vincent “What’s up with them clothes?”

RE: Pulp Fiction Decoded
Hmmm…interesting.
I thought you were going to say that the briefcase contained Wallace’s soul. I’ve heard a few conspiracies on that theory, hence the reason for the big Band-Aid on the back of his neck.

RE: American Sniper
The wife and I saw it, really enjoyed the film. She would never see this movie if BC wasn’t the star but it was enough to get her to watch a violent movie. She watched the whole thing through her hands but said it was worth it.

RE: Hitler Loses at Axis and Allies again.
Great movie. I saw it in the the theater in March of '05.
Flying Fortress and I made this Hitler rant video for a Historical Board Gaming contest back in 2012. The winner got a $50 gift card, we got 2nd place.
Captions move a little fast in the beginning before the rant, sorry.

RE: Hitler Loses at Axis and Allies again.
Best part is that Bruno Ganz who played Hitler in Downfall loves all of these videos. He said he really poured his heart into that scene and thought it was very important to act as “lunaticial” as possible (is that a word?)
At first it saddened him but the more videos he watched, the more it made him laugh, atta boy Bruno!

RE: MOVIE'S 2014
Why did NK do nothing when that garbage remake of Red Dawn came out? I wish they threatened me to stay away, that would have been good advice. Stop remaking movies that don’t need to be remade.

RE: Naval miniature fever!!!
The Warspite is one of the most highly sought after piece in the game. A lot of folks like to collect the class limit of a ship and I believe the Warspite had 5 other sisters…Azrael can confirm the true amount. The best part about her is that she has a one time “long shot 6” which means she can roll a gunnery attack 6 zones away!
Another reason why she is so popular is that she was released in the second set called Task Force. This set only had one printing and is loaded with some classic vessels. Lots of good pieces are in this set and are getting harder to find. The top most expensive retail pieces come from the TF set. They are;
Graf Zeppelin $60
Warspite $55
San Francisco $50
Yorktown $45
Massachusetts $40There are alternatives to collecting the WOTC pieces. Shapeways is a 3D printing company that makes resin copies in the 1/1800 scale that lots of folks use instead of paying the hefty price. They come unpainted and without a stat card but if your willing to paint it and print a card, you can get one for about $15-$20?? Azrael? If you can get one for under $35, I’d say she’s worth it.

RE: New T-Shirt Designs (including Canadian roundel)
Nice to see the new shirts. i must say however that ringer T is not for me, but that’s just me. My navy blue US roundel with soldier fits me just fine. Had a couple people recognize the silhouette.

Sorry to hear the news man. It was so cool to see the .org folks come out a while back and support you and Mr Bear. I like to think the care he received extended the good quality life the two of you shared together.
Like frimmel, we lost our cat after 15 great years. It’s hard but it was time for her to go. My only piece of advice to you Garg it to record videos of him on your cell just doing his favorite things. When your flipping through your phone pix and those videos pop up, you be glad you have them. Even some video of him sleeping will bring you joy.
Thanks for keeping us posted and letting us help out in his time of need. Here’s to you Mr Bear.

RE: Naval miniature fever!!!
Keep your eyes on eBay FM. I got one for $21 about a year ago and Variable go this for $26. The last auction for a Warspite I saw went for $35, still about half of retail.
