And Joe IS God, he has to be. He actually died back in the 80’s, but he is still coaching the Nittany Lions…

@M36:
All talk of football other than the NFL is hereby banned from this thread. :evil:
Because it is much better to watch steroid using, dog fighting, drug using “professionals” making millions of dollars instead of watching college or even high school games where the players just love the game…
Haha! thats messed up…true though. :-D Falcons suck.

RE: Armor values
@Imperious:
To perhaps address historical differences you could do this:
Start with American, Soviet, British and Japanese tanks at 3/2 and all tanks built in the future by soviets and America at 3/3 ( use Milton Bradley tanks for 3/2).
Japanese and British tanks stay at 3/2 costs 5 for entire gameAlso, German tanks cost 6 but attack at 4/3 these apply to starting tanks as well as built tanks. The Germans can build one 4/4 tank per turn also at 6 (representing SS Panzerkorps)
American tanks still cost 5 and are 3/3
Thats a good idea, the only problom I see is keeping trac of them all.

RE: AAE Scenario: Europe 1939 (France, USA, Germany, Britain, USSR, Italy)
Now you do have a point there.
They probly didn’t want to go into the US or UK, the Soviets never did trust the Western Democracies. They even thought twice about joining in an alliance at first.

RE: AAE Scenario: Europe 1939 (France, USA, Germany, Britain, USSR, Italy)
What I find weird about the '39 scenerio is the Allies(UK,US) can’t go to Russian territories(xenophobia) but the Russians can go on their territores. Wouldn’t it be both ways instead of this try to get troops or ships and planes into territories that the Axis will attack. It makes for weird gameplay and is open to many loopholes. Why can’t the SU just declare war when they please because putting troops in others countries to defend is basically doing so. I admit in the game I am playing for the first part of the game I did not think of putting Russian ships or planes that would have gotten them into the war earlier. I have been doing everything possible to get Russia into the war. I have troops in every area now that the Axis has not conquered and building ships to try to blockade the Axis and force them to attack SU.
I’ll blockade you before you blockade meee!! :-P
The Russians didn’t allow other Allied troops or planes into their teritorie even when they were at war.

RE: AAE Scenario: Europe 1939 (France, USA, Germany, Britain, USSR, Italy)
Mid 1944.The war in Europe has been drastically expanded. The Italian Navy was sent up into the cover of the frigid North Atlantic, a scout plane going to and from the Soviet Union and the UK spoted the massive fleet. It was recorded that they had enough transports and men to invade almost any spot on the map. Stalin, feeling desperate to get into the fight, receded his northern flank. Although so tempting, Bendito sailed into the Davis Strait, invading New Foundland, and pushing in all the way to Ontario and beond. The Canadians fell with little resictance. Truman reacted as fast as he could, pushing his industries and reqruitments to the max. Massive asaults have begun on both sides, but neither of them have weekened. With the arival of German infintry and fighters with more to come, it looks like it will not end any time soon. As for the British, there is still no sign of the Royal Navy, however the RAF has started to send Spitfires to DC to aid the US. The mighty country of the United Kingdom has been bombed, sunk, shot down, and demoralized in it’s own blood, how much longer they can last in check is unsure. The German Kriegsmarine has dominated the Oceon with it’s infamous U-Boats.
As for the main land Europe, it is all peacefull and quiet, more and more Faciest supplies are being sent to the Middle East and the Soviet borders. Stalin is getting more and more sucpisous of there actions, and has built up a masive line of defensive fortifacations in the Baltics, Western Ukraine, and the mountains of Iran. Although for some strange reason, there is little troops defending the citys Stalingrad and Mosscow, yet the communists seem confident…

RE: AAE Scenario: Europe 1939 (France, USA, Germany, Britain, USSR, Italy)
Well the way I did it was take belgium the first turn, then attkae from there to E France the 2nd…but in my version, france retreated from the magnot line and vichy to paris, making it hard to take and hold it on the next turn.
