122mm M-30 Artillery, water based colors.
Thx variable, a big thanks to you and all the team at HBG. You guys make great stuff, none of this will be possible without your big effort.
This is the Su-2 attk fighter, used water based paints on them too.
This is The Yak-6 transport plane, I used water based paints with a non glossy finish.
Ive been painting units for a couple of years. I prob painted hundrends if not thousands, I like to buy and collect every plastic miniature set thats out there, like a lot of you do. I just finished painting the last Russian set from HBG. Im in no way professional, and I choose quantity over quality. I still try to put some detail into it but Im not going too crazy. I hope you enjoy them, some of the members here have been an influence on me. I used oil based paints for a long time but I used water based paints for half of the set, after reading other ppl experiences. The results were amazing, a lot easier to work, drys a lot faster and the detail that leaves behind it was great. I purchased a mega paint set from Army painter and I was very satisfied with the product. The first pica are the inf, I used oil based colors on them. a little glossy but they look ok.
A question for the HBG crew. Any idea when the next German set is due?
Are you guys still making this set, or the whole project has been abandoned?
My personal opinion is that when someone sets a date, the least that he can do is say that he had no news yet, so nobody will have to post and keep asking the same question. I think we have the right to know, esp. the ppl that preorder, if they are any news or not. A simple post will save everybody a lot of headache.
dont want to be pesimistic but I think by now FMG should have some news about it. Is it still the old factory that is making this set? I would be very surprised if we get the news on Mon that are ready to be shipped. On the other hand I do like surprises lol
FM7 dont forget that coach will sell individual Tiger pieces from FMGs set, as it did with the Italian set, so you dont have to buy the whole set from FMG if you dont want to.
For now I think we should leave it the way it is, with the possible addition of PzII and PzIV. Coach no matter what you decide Ill still purchase it, but its good to know that you take our opinions seriously.
Thx coach, Im sure you will do whats best for everyone. Personally Ill pay a little extra to have those 2 moulds included in the set.
