RE: .
Here is a Colt 1911 that by its serial number traces back to 1917. It has GI sights and the grips have been replaced.

RE: .
This is my favorite 45. Can anyone identify it?
It appears to be a gun (and not a record).
I did set a personal record with it.
(hint) It is a Smith & Wesson. -
RE: ILs larger map
The map that I printed is 33 3/4 x 47 1/2.

Garg doesn’t even have a dog. He duped us to go to Tijuana and see a donkey show… :|
I never saw him there.

Nice to hear about the current status of Bear. I get all misty when I read all your posts. Here is the photo of my little pal that I promised you. Twelve years old.

RE: Friends - I'm in trouble - and I need your help
I’m in France at the moment and one day a year everybody goes to work and donates their pay for that day to the elderly to purchase air conditioners and new appliances and generally things to make their lives more comfortable. It’s called “the day of solidarity.”
In light of the recent unfortunate circumstances to befall Mr. Bear and Joel I propose those who can, work June 6th (D-Day) for Mr Bear. It’s one day to help save a life and if we all pitch in we can do it.
This June 6th I will be fighting all day in France to save a life! (Donating my day’s wage for Mr. Bear’s Surgery) Who’s with me!?
Wow Kyle… Thank you… I don’t know what else to say!! Mr. Bear and I look forward to spending a day with you when you get back home.
Thank you…
We’re going to be looking just like them right after this surgery gentlemen.
Is that Ira Hayes sitting on the far left?

RE: Battle of Prokhorovka (Kursk)
Situation at the end of turn 5 of test game #4. Russia with a strong defense in the center but they look a little weak on both flanks. Feel like I am getting closer to a final setup. Only small adjustments needed from here. Will see how this plays out next week.

RE: The Great War 1914-1918: Clash of Empires
Is the entrenchment sculpt included in the game or just the gunner?

RE: Battle of Prokhorovka (Kursk)
In the latest test game this past week the Germans surrendered at the end of turn 6. It was obvious that the axis was going to fail as their casualties were horrible. They suffered terrible fighter losses early on as they tried in vain to gain air superiority. Terrible dice! The Germans start with more units but Russia gets 14 reinforcements and the axis get 10 per turn.

RE: Tigerman's Barbarossa Game now at HBG
@SS:
You going to post rules here or on BGG site?
Updated rules are posted on BGG and include new rules for generals.

RE: Tigerman's Barbarossa Game now at HBG
Fish,
Yes I have played 3 games in the last 2 months. Do you have any questions?ÂI will say that every game is different when you add the weather. My last game we rolled and it rained the first 3 turns and snowed on the 4th. Hurt Germany pretty bad.
Yes the weather is always tough on the Germs. Have you finalized rules for generals?

RE: Tigerman's Barbarossa Game now at HBG
I’d like to commend Tigerman on making this into a real nail-biter of a game. Very fun and now quite streamlined. I know when Hkytown1 and I sat down to play he was blown away. This is an impressive site when it’s all set up with HBG pieces!
Variable, have you or Tigerman played any more of these games?

RE: The Great War 1914-1918: Clash of Empires
@Imperious:
Yes pre-order at $99 then it goes to $119.
IL, will this be on BGG so that we can see the whole layout with photos?

RE: Battle of Prokhorovka (Kursk)
looks pretty cool. any chance of a set up? and what ToI expanstions ( if any) do we need to play this magnificent a game?
The setup is now only in photos as it will change with testing. The ToI games needed for this map are ToI base game, Normandy, and the ToI map expansion. The map expansion is nothing more than the same 12 map tiles that come with the base game but they are double sided which gives you 12 different tiles. It takes 30 tiles for this map. You cannot have a decent game however without covering the map with plexiglass to keep the tiles from moving. I have developed unit charts however which include many of the HBG units. Reinforcements come into the game via cards which describe the new units you get on each turn. Saves time as you no longer have IPCs involved. Long range plans include a Normandy game at Omaha beach.

RE: Battle of Prokhorovka (Kursk)
Situation at the end of turn 4. Test game #2. Germans approach determined Russian defense just west of Prokhorovka. Supplies are running low for Germans. Game continues next week.

RE: Master Find Players List
I last talked to him back in mid Feb, he said he had no computer.
Oh the horror of it all. Computerless!
