RE: Lets Talk Paratroopers!
I read through a couple pages of this, so if what I am thinking isn’t original forgive me.
How about a unique unit that costs 3IPC fights at a 1/1 (on a D6) but the unit gets the same advantage as submarines, hits don’t return fire. I would also eliminate the transports and give them a movement of two and alow them to cross water. They would also be allowed to be transported like Infantry.
I think I may give this a try in my next Game, but I would like to hear any feed back…

RE: The War Game
I have the game. I’ve played it several times and just the map was worth the cost. the pieces are the same or close enough. Adlertag is a smartass in case it isn’t clear…

RE: Nuclear Iran
Let me chime in on this discussion with some information I have learned firsthand. I spent the last year having discussions with detained suspected terrorists. I can’t get into allot of details. But I can tell you I’ve learned allot about a sect of Shia Islam known as Imami Shia. Imamist believe that the “Antichrist” is a force of evil they see this force manifested in the US and its colony Israel. They believe that prior to the return or the Twelfth Imam - Muhammad ibn Hasan who has been in hiding for over 1000 years, the world must be descended into apocalypse. The Imamists believe that war with the west is inevitable and the result will be the reemergence of the twelfth Imam as well as Jesus, the resurrection.
90% of Iran is Imamist Shia including Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Khomeini.
For me that is reason enough to do everything we can to keep Iran from getting Nuclear weapons.

I played Pacific and D-Day each twice in the last month, those along with original A&A are the only A&A games the rec center in Camp Bucca, Iraq.
Sad that I’m in a combat zone and played more Face to Face than most of you…

RE: Nightlife in your town.
I live in a camp that’s about 8 square miles walled in with no access in or out a few miles from the The only deep water port in Iraq, Um Qasar. There’s not much to do here, if I want a drink I have to practice my vinter skills in my closit of get someone to mail me something on the sly. Fortunately it will be better next year. :)

RE: Which would have been a better Ally to Germany?
I agree with the turkey’s… Ah that is the people that voted for Turkey. Especialy early in the war. It would have put alot more pressure on the brits and maybe Romel could have pulled something off in Egypt. Of course the aditional pressure on the USSR later would have been helpful the the axis cause. I think Spain would have been another weaker Italy.
Of course all that has been said though, I thought I would add my $ .02

Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl; check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.Turn on the electric mixer…Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven.
