Well done, is always good to experiment with moving people and vehicles to different positions. :) I turned turrets on some of my tanks. :) Keep up the good work.

RE: DM making a comeback
Due to my location, the australian bush, my man cave is not really all that secure, i have been expecting it but was still shocked , sitting down painting away and out of the corner of my eye i see something squirming along at my feet, a quick look confirms my fears,it’s a bloody snake. So, the mancave has been abandoned for now will pluck up the courage to go back in a few days and make a whole lot of noise. A few pics of my current progress.

RE: DM making a comeback
Over a year ago i had made a start on the russian supplement set and due to circumstances had to drop everything and deal with real life. During my absence here i ordered the japanese supplement set and after looking at hbg the other day i noticed there was an expansion set as well. I have just recently received the uk supplement set, so i really have a lot of catching up to do. Not to mention i still have fmg’s italians as well. I will never run out of pieces to paint, just finding the time…. :-D

RE: DM making a comeback
Thanks majikforce
@majikforce:Awesome detail on those aircraft! The steady hand thing is a must and eagle eye sight doesn’t hurt. I have to take breaks if I’ve been painting to long and refuel with some food to stop the shakes! Keep up the great work!
Agree with taking breaks, i can’t sit for more than a couple hours.

RE: Extending/gluing bigger gun on a T/34\. plz help???
Correct me if it wouldn’t work but how would a small piece of heat shrink tube go if you only want to extend the barrel?I don’t know if it would work, just an idea i had……

RE: DM making a comeback
Thank you Spitfire38, you have quite a few awesome pieces yourself. I am not using anything fancy, just the normal model brushes from 3 down to size 5/0
I do find that when it comes down to the really fine stuff i have to sometimes trim hairs off the brush, yes, i do go through a few.
Of course a steady hand is a real advantage and patience too, both are things i struggle with. -
RE: Building the Bomb
Wow, i have this exact model sitting on the shelf in my man cave waiting to be built, know how long it has been sitting there……more than 20 years… One day, one day… :)

RE: DM making a comeback
Not all historically accurate, but i love planes and i have to add some fun and unusual schemes in to the mix, artistic license……:)

RE: Inkwashes
Forgot to mention earlier that you can whitewash as well, i used that on my Russian forces, which by the way is what they actually did back in ww2 8-)

RE: Inkwashes
There are ink washes and then there are blackwashes, i didn’t seem to have any success with the inkwash, they are very runny, i made my own blackwash, just water down some black paint, need to experiment a bit with the thickness, and yes they do tend to darken the paintwork. Can also do it with brown as well.
