RE: Russian winter
The rule: Russian Infantry attack at 2 and défend at 3 during the first round of combat his too much strong. Russian is almost invincible. I changed it in our house rules. Germany Infantry Will attack at 1. It’s more fair.

RE: Rethinking Strategic Bomber and Tactical Bomber Roles
Ss…Yep…but last 3 games, we played 14 hours and played between 13 and 15 turns. The last games finish in a draw. I played Germany and at the end, only southern and Moscow still under control of Russia but soviets player stacked all his infantries in Moscow. Infantry défend at 3 in Russian cities but I hate this rules and I’m going to remove it from the rules.

RE: Maybe Chamberlain was not enough of a coward?
A fair point. On the other hand, my friend from France made it seem as though the French people weren’t that interested in resisting Hitler.
I’m afraid that you’re friend from France don’t know a lot of things about France situation during WWII.
(Or it’s simply his own point of view)….AL.

Vous aussi vous trouvez le jeu déséquilibré!?!? Vous avez modifier le jeux de base pour qu’il soit plus équilibré?
Yes, we have a web site with info about the game and the rules.
We’re around 12 members and playing around 3 or 4 games per year.AL.

RE: The problem is production.
More factories (probably with some simple rules that restrict the types of units that can be placed there) could radically transform the strategic options in A&A…
For me it’s already done…

RE: Maybe Chamberlain was not enough of a coward?
My argument is that had England and France let Germany have Poland Hitler’s next target would have been Russia.
No you’re wrong, the next Hitler target was France not Russia.
For Hitler….‘’ France was the worst enemy of Germany’'.
Plane for the invasion of France was on the table just after the surrender of Poland.AL

RE: 1940 Cheaper Boats
_If you lowered the cost of aircraft, I would understand the logic of reducing the cost of aaaguns.
But I think I’m struggling to understand why the reduction in cost for ships requires a reduction in cost for aircraft?
If the only issue is cruiser to fighter parity, then I don’t follow. The fighters cost at 10 is justified by its movement and the fact that it can attack/defend on land. No one seems to have a problem purchasing tons of aircraft in this game, it’s the ships that need the cost reduction in my view. The air is already very potent_
Totally agree…but reduced the price of warship at half of the price it’s too much…
