I’ve got to say I am very impressed so far with what Renegade has brought to the table with reprints and new A&A material. 1914 and Guadalcanal reprints, new North Africa game, and a giant Global '40 playmat all in the next two years! What more could the community ask for??

Try I Will Never Grow Up. They are the current supplier of FMG products.

RE: Have you guys seen this big anouncement for A&A?
I’m glad their first reprint is 1914. Did they mention how long the pre-order window is open?

RE: “Riddle me this”
The Charles De Gaulle is on the viewers left in this picture.
The F-35s make up the extreme left and right of the formation. The Rafales are port, starboard, and astern the E-2

RE: Who would win?
One thing you are not taking into account with your premise is the Iowa has superior search radar and fire control computers compared to the Kongo. The 16in guns would sink the Kongos before they even got into firing range and the engagement would end before they came within 10kms of each other.

Have you guys seen this big anouncement for A&A?
Renegade Game Studios Expands Licensing Partnership with Hasbro Gaming Classics posted at BGG and Renegade Studios website.
Perhaps we will see some beloved reprints and some new material for A&A.

RE: Most valuable add-ons for "quality of life" improvements?
I would say a decent set of poker chips to replace the paper money or paper bookkeeping.

RE: Risk - The Walking Dead: scale of units same as Axis and Allies?
Again, the Infantry unit is slightly smaller, but the truck is the perfect size for A&A.

RE: Risk - The Walking Dead: scale of units same as Axis and Allies?
The Risk zombies are slightly smaller, but still serviceable for A&A. I am of the opinion that the Risk - Walking Dead rules are much better than A&A:Z…

All fair points. I look forward to your upcoming house rule releases!

RE: G40 Carrier Based Fighter Units
Interesting concepts, but I feel your use of carrier-borne aircraft is too limited as written. Naval aircraft are just as effective on land as they are at sea. The Marines used all the same aircraft types as the US Navy during WWII. In fact, they adopted the Corsair for service before the Navy. You may also want to look into the contributions of the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy as well as the use of naval aircraft in the Battle of the Atlantic.

RE: US Marines & British Commandos
Interesting concepts floated here! I always appreciate the effort to create and publish various house rules on the forums. I do have a question; can the British Commandos take/hold territory? Or are they more of a shock force that is replaced by a regular Infantry unit after combat?

RE: Broadsides and Boarding Parties
I think it is an interesting idea. Broadsides & Boarding Parties is the only game in the old GameMaster series that has not been reprinted up to this point. I may be mistaken, but I believe Restoration Games had shown some interest in re-printing this game, but am not sure if that is still the case.

RE: Xeno Games is No More
The end of an era.
I’m curious, how long until World at War and their other titles are considered abandoned IPs and can be distributed freely in the fan community?

RE: update on shipping date?
Dude, chill… If you take a moment and look at the CSW forums (Yes, I realize they are NOT user friendly) you will find all kinds of posted progress including AAR’s & pics of current state of development. He even posted pics of the counter art to help speed production of the game.

RE: Chess board scenario
I’ve played a couple. Commander-In-Chief has quality pieces and offers a fun alternative to Chess. Otherwise, Solitaire Chess offers interesting challenges with a handful of Chess pieces.

RE: Napoleonic Wars Axis & Allies Style Game
The pieces from Viktory II are simply fantastic for any game in the Napoleonic era. The 9 available colors gives the gamecrafter great flexibility.
If you are looking for a historical factory piece, I’d suggest looking at War! Age of Imperialism from Eagle Games. You can get a runner of industry & infrastructure buildings for $2.99.
